Bruce Street, South Bend, Indiana, to sell white canesse&:the sidewalks downtown for the period beginning May 15 and ending May 22, 1969, permission having been granted for such sales by the Charitable Solicitations Committee. REQUEST TO SELL FOR-GET-ME-NOTS MAY 9 AND 10 1969 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the request of Roy L. Larson, for Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #6, 117 S. William Street, South -Bend, Indiana, to sell for-get-me-nots on the sidewalks downtown on May :9 and 10, 1969, permission having been granted for such sales by the Charitable Solicitations Committee. REQUEST TO HOLD STREET MEETINGS - WASHINGTON AND WALNUT The request of Rev. Brinkley Collier, 932 Sorin Street, South Bend, Indiana for the Emanuel Church of God in Christ, 415 W.. LaSalle Street, South Bend,. Indiana, to hold street services on the corner of Washington and Walnut Streets, from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Thursdays and Saturdays, was con- sidered. The°Clerk was directed to notify Rev. Collier to appear before the Board on April 21, 1969. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the re u t f q es was re erred to the Police Department for recommendation. AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR ROAD OIL Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the 'City Engineer for award of contract for 2OOAO0 gallons of dust control road oil for the Street Department to Westville Oil and Manufacturing, Inc., Westville, Indiana.
