Lennon, Director of Model Neighborhood Program, 1045 W. Washington <br />Avenue,, South Bend, Indiana, to hold a parade on March 30, 1969, commencing <br />at 3:00 P.M., starting at Kaley School and ending at Central High School. <br />ENGINEERING AGREEMENT- CLYDE E. WILLIAMS & ASSOCIATES, INC. - CLYDE CREEK AREA <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />the execution of a contract with Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., <br />for engineering services in performing a study for the development and epn <br />struction of a storm water drainage system for the Clyde Creek ,Area, -! <br />subject to the availability of funds and the appropriation thereof by the <br />Common Council from the Cumulative Building and Sinking Fund. <br />ENGINEERING AGREEMENT - CHARLES W. COLE & SON - IRONWOOD AND HICKORY <br />ROADS AREA <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />execution of a contract with Charles W. Cole & Son, Inc., for engineering ser- <br />vices in performing a study for the development and construction of a storm <br />water drainage system for the area between Ironwood ano' Hickory Roads,` ex- <br />tending north of the Grand Trunk Railroad to Douglas Road, subject to the <br />availability of funds and the appropriation thereof by the Common Council <br />from the Cumulative Building and Sinking Fund. <br />GARBAGE TRUCK ROUTES <br />Because of complaints received concerning the use of South Bend City Streets <br />by Mishawaka Refuse Trucks traveling to.the South Bend landfill, upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the matter was referred to the City Engineer <br />for outlining to the Mishawaka Sanitation Department the routes to be used <br />by the refuse trucks in passing through South Bend to the landfill. <br />PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT - CARLISLE STREET <br />The petition of Mrs. Mary Janiak and 13 others for a street light on Carlisle <br />Street was filed with the Board and referred to the Traffic Engineering for <br />investigation and recommendation to the Board. <br />PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT - 3600 block LILAC ROAD <br />The petition of Martin A. Pfeiffer and five others for a street light'in the <br />3600 block of Lilac Road was filed with the Board and referred to the Traffic <br />Engineering for investigation and recommendation to the Board. <br />STREET LIGHT INSTALLATIONS APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendations of the Traffic Engineering Department for the installation <br />of the following: <br />Greenwood Drive - Installation mid block of a 7000L MV light; and <br />light on the corner of Hilltop and Greenwood increased to 7000L MV. <br />Cost to the city - $45.00 per year. <br />Kosciusko Street - Increase light at the alley and Kosciusko north <br />of Sample to 7000L MV. Cost to the city - $10.80 per year. <br />
