<br />public auction, and the Clerk is directed,to advertise such sale in the
<br />South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on March 7, March 14, March 21
<br />and March 28, 1969.
<br />SALE70F PERSONAL PROPERTY - BY EXECUTIVE AUTHORIZATION
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the following
<br />Resolution approved by the Mayor, was adopted by the Board for the sale
<br />of a Fiberline Developing Sink:
<br />"RESOLUTION NO. 3-3-69 (a)
<br />RESOLUTION AND EXECUTIVE AUTHORIZATION TO SELL
<br />PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
<br />WHICH IS NO LONGER NEEDED OR IS UNFIT FOR ITS
<br />INTENDED PURPOSE.
<br />"WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public
<br />Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that
<br />certain equipment is no longer needed and is unfit for the
<br />purpose for which it was intended, and
<br />" WHEREAS, Chapter 186, Acts of 1967 of the Indiana
<br />General Assembly, permits the sale of personal property
<br />no longer needed or is obsolete,
<br />" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
<br />Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend that the
<br />following described equipment is no longer needed and is
<br />unfit for the purpose for which it is intended:
<br />One (1) Brown F:iberiine Developing Sink
<br />44'' wide x 36" high x 100" long.
<br />" BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said Board that said equipment
<br />be sold at public auction, in the City of South Bend, after ad-
<br />vertising it for sale by four insertions one week apart, pur-
<br />suant to the provisions of the Acts of 1927, Chapter 96 as
<br />amended.
<br />" Adopted this 3rd day of March, 1969.

<br />Contract for janitorial services for Municipal Services Facility, 701 W.
<br />Sample Street for the period March 1, 1969, through December 31, 1969,
<br />was awarded to Midwest Janitor Services, South Bend, Indianaā€˛
<br />REQUEST OF GREAT LAKES FOUNDRY TO SET UP TRAILER ON PRAIRIE AVENUE
<br />On February 25, 1969, the Board approved the Request of Great Lakes
<br />Foundry, 1100 Prairie Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, to set up a trailer on
<br />Prairie Avenue 50 yards south of its guardhouse within the 12 feet of space
<br />between the sidewalk and fence of the Great Lakes Foundry commencing March 1,
<br />1969, for a period of 60 days.
