1/20/69 REQUEST FOR FIRE PROTECTION - I.U.S.B. HOOTENANNY - INDIANA UNIVERSITY Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, and upon the recommenda- tion of Fire Chief Joseph L. Zurat, the Board approved the request of John J. A. Lopez, Chairman of I.U.S.B. Week, Indiana University of South Bend, 1825 Northside Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana, 46615, for the Fire Depart- ment to provide fire protection at a "Bonfire and Hootenanny" to be held in Potowatomie Park from 7:00 P.M. to 11':00 P.M. on March 11, 1969. REQUEST TO RE -ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES -.MUNICIPAL SERVICES BUILDING Mr. Sutton, Purchasing Agent, appeared before the Board in connection with request to re -advertise for bids for janitorial services for Municipal Services Building, stating that a new set of specifications have been pre- pared and expressing the hope that several bids might be received. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the matter was postponed until January 27, 1969. APPLICATIONS - FIRE DEPARTMENT The following applications for appointment to the Fire Department were filed and referred to the Personnel Director for further processing: Philip John Pankiewicz Julius Anthony Papczyns.ki Raymond Benedict Walorski TRAFFIC REPORT FOR 1968 - POLICE DEPARTMENT Traffic report for 1968 for the Police Department was reviewed and ordered filed. COPY OF LEASE - MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM Copy of lease, Morris Civic Auditorium with The Urban League r_,,uild for performance on 12/15/69 of "The Messiah" was reviewed and: ordered filed.
