1/20/69 1. Main Street - from LaSalle to Bartlett 2. Lafayette Street - from LaSalle to Navarre 3. Madison Street - from Leland to Michigan 4. Marion Street - from Leland to Michigan "NO PARKING" SIGN - 410 N. WILLIAM STREET Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried the Board approved the installation of a "No Parking" sign and post on the east side of N. William Street in front of 410 William Street --arrows to point south toward Madison Street. STREET LIGHT REQUESTS APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer for the following: 68-82 Denial of a second street light at 1944 E. Donald. Approval for the existing street light at Ironwood and Donald to be increased from 4000 L INC to 7000 L MV. CIT 69-4 Denial to increase the street light at Olive Street. Approval to increase the street light at Orange and Fremont. (Olive Street is being drawn up presently as a mercury system) The above changes causing an increase in cost of 90t per month. CONTINUATION CERTIFICATE Certificate continuing excavation bond for Albert A. Spromberg to November 11, 1969, was approved by the Board. GENERAL INSURANCE CERTIFICATE Certificate of insurance for workmen's compensation and employers liability comprehensive general, liability and automobile on behalf of Rieth Riley Construction Company, to 2/1/70 was filed. MINUTES - BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY It was moved by Mr. Bickel, seconded and unanimously carried that -the keep- ing of separate minutes for the Board of Works and for the Board of Safety be dispensed with that the minutes for the Board of Public Works and Safety be combined in one record effective January 6, 1969. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS Street light outage reports for the period January 2 to January 16, 1969, were ordered filed. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting ad- journed at 10:55 A.M. 1
