<br />City, Arizona, asking a 30 day continuance in response to a notice to
<br />Elizabeth M. Kovacs to appear before the Board on March 8, 1971, was
<br />read and ordered filed until March 8, 1971.
<br />Request for sub -standard property owners to appear before the Board 3/15/71
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request of
<br />the Sub -Standards Director for the following persons to appear before the
<br />Board on March 15, 1971, to show cause, if any they have why the follow-
<br />ing structures should not be demolished:

<br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the recommendation of the Purchasing
<br />Department was approved for the purchase of cash registers for the two
<br />municipal parking garages on the quotation submitted by Don Weninger 1;
<br />Company, 1614 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, Indiana.

<br />ORDER FOR PRELIMINARY PLANS
<br />Q ON THE PETITION OF JOHN HEISLER, JR. - N. IRONWOOD DRIVE SIDEWALK
<br />Lloyd S. Taylor, City Engineer, files with the Board his recommendation that
<br />the petition of. Mr. and Mrs. John Heisler, Jr., 725 N. Ironwood Drive, South
<br />Bend, Indiana, for the improvement of N. Ironwood Drive, from Bader Avenue
<br />to Corby Street, by constructing a public sidewalk, be granted.
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approves such recommenda-
<br />tion, and Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., consulting engineers,
<br />are directed to prepare preliminary plans, estimates and preliminary
<br />improvement resolution for such improvement.
<br />CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
<br />ASSESSMENT ROLL ADOPTED
<br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3321, 1970 - BEALE STREET SEWER
<br />For the improvement of Beale Street from Cushing Street to Riverside Drive,
<br />by constructing a local sewer.
<br />Clyde E. Williams and Associates, inc., consulting engineers, files"its
<br />certificate of completion for the construction of said -improvement in
<br />accordance with the plans and specifications for such project.
<br />Lloyd S. Taylor, City Engineer, files assessment roll in said improvement with
<br />the names of the owners and a description of the property subject to be
<br />assessed, with the amount of the prima facie assessments in the total sun
<br />of $17,275.63.
<br />Thereupon the Board adopts a resolution accepting said assessment roll
<br />as presented and sets March 22, 1971, at 9:30 A.M., in Room 1308 County
<br />City Building, South Bend, Indiana, as the time and place for receiving
<br />remonstrances against the amounts assessed on said roll and at which time
<br />it will determine whether such lots or tracts of land have been or will be
<br />benefited by such improvement to the amounts named.
<br />And the Clerk is directed to give notice of such hearing by publication
<br />in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on March 5 and March 12, 1971.
