V <br />12/28/70 <br />2116 Western Avenue. Upon motion made seconded and carried, the matter <br />pertaining to 2116 Western Avenue was continued one week for the Sub - <br />Standards Department to contact the representative of the owner. <br />2018 S. Michioan Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />matter'of 2018 S. Michigan Street was continued one week for the Sub - <br />Standards Department to contact the representative of the owner to ascer- <br />tain their.intentions. <br />122 S. Laurel Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter <br />of 122 S. Laurel Street was continued one week for the Sub -Standards De- <br />partment to make further investigation. <br />1312 S. St. Joseph Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />matter of 1312 S. St. Joseph Street was continued indefinitely, and the <br />Sub -Standards Department was requested to keep the property under sur- <br />veillance. <br />1631 S. Franklin Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter <br />of 1631 S. Franklin Street was continued two weeks, and the Sub -Standards <br />�r Department was directed to r3quest the owner to close up the open windows. <br />x <br />Demolition bids opened: <br />This being the date set, bids were opened for demolition of the following <br />G" structures. Non collusion affidavits were found to be proper. The bids <br />were as follows: <br />1039 LaSalle Court: <br />Vanek Excavating Co. $498.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Corp. $403.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $629.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the <br />structure at 1039 LaSalle Court was awarded to Midwest Excavating Company <br />on its low bid of $403.00. <br />1011 S. Rush Street: <br />Vanek Excavating Co. $328.00 <br />B & J Demolition Co. $400.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Corp. $315.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $549.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the <br />structure at 1011 S. Rush Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company <br />on its low bid of $315.00. <br />325 S. Taylor: <br />Vanek Excavating Co. $494.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Corp. $399.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $570.00 <br />B & J Demolition Co. $465.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the <br />structure at 325 S. Taylor Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition <br />Corporation 6n its low bid of $399.00. <br />CONTRACT AWARDED - JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR 1971, MUNICIPAL SERVICES FACILITY <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for janitorial services for <br />1971 at Municipal Services Facility was awarded to ABC Janitor Service on <br />its low bid of $19,200.-00 annually. <br />DISPLAY OF MODEL HOME AT MICHIGAN AND CHIPPEWA - EXTENDED <br />Richard Hummer of Heckaman Industries, R. R. #1, P. 0. Box 60A, Nappanee, <br />Indiana, appeared before the Board in connection with his display of a <br />model home at the corner of Michigan and Chippewa , and was granted 60 <br />additional days in which to display the house. <br />
