Upon motion made seconded and carried, the matter pertaining to 2116 Western Avenue was continued one week for the Sub - Standards Department to contact the representative of the owner. 2018 S. Michioan Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter'of 2018 S. Michigan Street was continued one week for the Sub - Standards Department to contact the representative of the owner to ascer- tain their.intentions. 122 S. Laurel Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter of 122 S. Laurel Street was continued one week for the Sub -Standards De- partment to make further investigation. 1312 S. St. Joseph Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter of 1312 S. St. Joseph Street was continued indefinitely, and the Sub -Standards Department was requested to keep the property under sur- veillance. 1631 S. Franklin Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter of 1631 S. Franklin Street was continued two weeks, and the Sub -Standards �r Department was directed to r3quest the owner to close up the open windows. x Demolition bids opened: This being the date set, bids were opened for demolition of the following G" structures. Non collusion affidavits were found to be proper. The bids were as follows: 1039 LaSalle Court: Vanek Excavating Co. $498.00 Midwest Demolition Corp. $403.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. $629.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 1039 LaSalle Court was awarded to Midwest Excavating Company on its low bid of $403.00. 1011 S. Rush Street: Vanek Excavating Co. $328.00 B & J Demolition Co. $400.00 Midwest Demolition Corp. $315.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. $549.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 1011 S. Rush Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $315.00. 325 S. Taylor: Vanek Excavating Co. $494.00 Midwest Demolition Corp. $399.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. $570.00 B & J Demolition Co. $465.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 325 S. Taylor Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Corporation 6n its low bid of $399.00. CONTRACT AWARDED - JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR 1971, MUNICIPAL SERVICES FACILITY Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for janitorial services for 1971 at Municipal Services Facility was awarded to ABC Janitor Service on its low bid of $19,200.-00 annually. DISPLAY OF MODEL HOME AT MICHIGAN AND CHIPPEWA - EXTENDED Richard Hummer of Heckaman Industries, R. R. #1, P. 0. Box 60A, Nappanee, Indiana, appeared before the Board in connection with his display of a model home at the corner of Michigan and Chippewa , and was granted 60 additional days in which to display the house.
