Kimbel <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT - TRAFFIC REPORT FOR NOVEMBER, 1970 <br />Police'Department traffic report for November, 1970, was reviewed and ordered <br />filed. <br />SUB -STANDARDS DEPARTMENT <br />Forrest West, Building Commissioner, appeared before the Board and the follow- <br />ing matters were taken up: <br />1613 S. Leer Street. Mrs. Lottie King, the owner, is to be requested by the Sub - <br />Standards Division to remove all the furniture on the front porch, remove <br />screens and storm sash from the back area, clean the yard and secure the <br />unoccupied building. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was <br />continued six weeks to permit the above action. <br />1316 Hine Street. Mrs. Bernice Bell appeared before the Board and stated she <br />cannot afford to bring this structure up to standard and wishes to have the <br />Board take bids for demolition. It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried <br />that the Sub -Standards Division be authorized to seek bids for the demolition <br />of the structure at 1316 Hine Street. <br />1230 W. Colfax Avenue. The motion was made, seconded and unanimously carried <br />that the Sub -Standards Division be authorized to seek bids for -the demolition <br />of the structure at 1230 W. Colfax Avenue. <br />1631 S. Franklin Street. Minion Stanton appeared before the Board. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and unanimously carried, the matter of 1631 S. Franklin Street <br />was continued two weeks for the owner to secure the building. <br />1312 S. St. Joseph Street. Ray Braden, land contract buyer, appeared before the <br />Board and stated he has contracted to have the building secured but due to the <br />work .load the contractor has not yet been able to get the job done. It was <br />moved,,seconded and unanimously carried that the matter be continued for two <br />weeks to permit the owner to close the building. <br />1014 S. Fellows Street. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the <br />Sub -Standards Department was authorized to seek bids for demolition of the <br />structure at 1014 S. Fellows Street. <br />Demolition bids opened: <br />This being the date set, bids were opened for demolition of the following <br />structures.
