<br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3328 - DR. ARMAND RIGAUX
<br />This being the date set, hearing was,held on the assessment roll in Vacation
<br />Resolution No. 3328, for the vacation of a portion of the north -south alley
<br />between Penn Central right of way and Otsego Avenue, from the south right of
<br />way line of Angela Boulevard running south 126 feet.
<br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune
<br />and the Tri County News on October 30, November 6 and November 13, 1970,
<br />which were found to be sufficient. No remonstrators having appeared and no
<br />written remonstrances having been received, upon motion made, seconded and
<br />unanimously carried, the assessment roll was approved as presented and the
<br />Vacation Resolution in all things confirmed and the proceedings closed and
<br />the property vacated.
<br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3329 - MIDWEST TURNKEY
<br />BUILDERS; INC.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll in Vacation
<br />Resolution No. 3329, for the vacation of:
<br />Frances Street, from the north line of Miner Street
<br />p� extending north 105 feet to the south right of way
<br />line of a 12 foot alley as shown on the recorded
<br />Q Plat of Lederer and Longley's Subdivision of Out
<br />Lot numbered 1 in Samuel L. Cottrell's First
<br />Addition t6 the town of Lowell, now a part of the
<br />City of South Bend. This portion of the street
<br />was formerly Lots 35 and 36 of said Addition.
<br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune
<br />and the Tri County News on October 30, November 6 and November 13, 19700
<br />which were found to be sufficient. No remonstrators having appeared and no
<br />written remonstrances having been received, upon motion made, seconded and
<br />unanimously carried, the assessment roll was approved as presented and the
<br />Vacation Resolution in all things confirmed and the proceedings closed and
<br />the property vacated.
<br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3331, 1970 - DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT
<br />William E. Slabaegh and Glenn Barbe of the Department of Redevelopment
<br />appeared before the Board in reference to the proposed vacation of portions
<br />of Leon Court, Catalpa Avenue and Chapin Street, and portions of five north -
<br />south alleys between Prairie and Catalpa Streets, Catalpa and Chapin Streets,
<br />and Chapin and Kendall Streets.
<br />Following a discussion concerning the construction of a cul de sac, December
<br />7, 1970, at 9:30 A.M., was set as the time for resuming the hearing which
<br />was continued on November 2, 1970, and the Clerk was directed to give notice
<br />in writing to the interested property owners.
<br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3318 - EAST
<br />WASHINGTON AVENUE
<br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll in Improve-
<br />ment Resolution No. 3318 for the improvement of East Washington Avenue,
<br />from Greenlawn to Ironwood, by constructing a Class C pavement with curbs
<br />and curb repair. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the
<br />South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on November 6 and November 13, 1970,
<br />which were found to be proper. No written remonstrances having been received
<br />and no remonstrators having appeared, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously
<br />carried, said assessment roll adopted October 26, 1970, was in all things
<br />approved as presented.
<br />FINAL CONFIRMATION - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3330 - ALLEYS BETWEEN
<br />HUEY AND O' BR IEN _
<br />The remonstrance filed against the improvement of the alleys between Huey
<br />and O'Brien Streets, from Humboldt north to the tee and east -west from Huey
<br />to O'Brien within the 10 day period following the date and time of the hear-
<br />ing on said improvement not being equal to 51% or more of the resident
<br />property;.owners on said alleys to be improved, upon motion made, seconded
<br />and unanimously carried, Improvement Resolution No. 3330, 1970 adopted by
<br />the Board October 5, 1970, and first confirmed October 27, 1970, was in
