The owner of this property having advised verbally that he wishes to turn this property over to the City, the Sub -Standards Director was requested to contact the owner to determine what he intends to do with this property. 2410-2412 W. Ford Street, submitted to the Board the consent of Midwest Demolition Corporation to rescind its contract with the City of South Bend for the demolition of this structure; and deposited $25.00 with the Clerk of the Board for the benefit of Midwest Demolition Company. Thereupon, the motion was made, seconded and carried to hold the matter of the contract between the City of South Bend and the.Midwest Demolition Company in abeyance until December 7, 1970. Demolition bids received; This being the date set, bids for demolition of structures at the follow- ing addresses were opened. Non collusion affidavits were found to be proper. Cedar Street: Midwest Demolition Co. $389.00 B & J Demolition Co. $300.00 O'Neal Trucking Co.$399.00 - Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 1134 E. Cedar Street was awarded to B & J Demolition Company on its low bid of $300.00, subject to the availability of funds. 830 S. Rush Street Midwest Demolition Co. $329.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. $500.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 830 S. Rush Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $329.00, subject to availability of funds. 1318 Hillcrest Road: O'Neal Trucking Co. $972.00 Midwest Demolition Co. $569.00 It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that contract for demolition of the structure at 1318 Hillcrest Road be awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $569.00 and that the contract be entered into November 30, 1970, subject to the availability of funds.
