11/16/70 <br />U <br />point is also known as the west line of the unrecorded <br />plat of Crestview Second Addition. <br />A public alley, being the first north -south alley west <br />of High Street that runs from a point 487.6 feet south <br />of the south line of Donmoyer Avenue to a point 1,059.4 <br />feet south of the south line of Donmoyer Avenue, which <br />last mentioned point is the south line of the unrecorded <br />plat of Crestview Second Addition. <br />An east -west public alley lying between Tasher Avenue and <br />Jennings Avenue between the west -line of High Street and <br />a point 625 feet west of the west line of High Street, <br />which last mentioned point is the west line of the'unre- <br />corded plat of -Crestview Second Addition. <br />together with the check of Nathan Lerman in the amount of $65.00 for costs. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and ananimously carried, the petition is re- <br />ferred to -the City Emgineer and to the Area Plan Commission simultaneously <br />for study and recommendation to the Board. <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION`'N0. 3330 - <br />Q ALLEYS BETWEEN HUEY AND O'BRIEN <br />1 <br />The Engineering Department reports to the Board its finding of 43 resident <br />freeholders eligible to vote in the matter of the improvement of the alley <br />between Huey and O'Brien Street, from Humboldt Street north to the tee <br />and the east -west alley from Huey to O'Brien, by constructing a Class C, <br />Type I concrete pavement, and that 21 votes were cast against the improve- <br />rpent and 22 for the improvement. In view of the near -tie of the voting, <br />upon motion made seconded and unanimously carried, the matter was re- <br />ferred to the City Engineer for discussion with the remonstrators before <br />further action is taken. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3332 - 360H STREET A <br />Lloyd S. Taylor, City Engineer, files assessment roll, showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the following <br />described vacation; <br />Thirty-sixth Street, from the south line of Lots 40 and 65 <br />north to the south line of Washington Street; also, the <br />north -south alley lying between 35th and 36th Streets from <br />the south line of Lots 101 and 62 north to the south line <br />of Washington Street; also, the east -west alley running <br />from 35th Street to 36th Street and lying between Lots 101 <br />and 102 and Lots 61 and 62; also, the east -west alley <br />running from 36th Street east to the first north -south alley and <br />lying between Lots 43 and 44. All in Belmont Addition to the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />The Board sets December 14, 1970, as the time for receiving remonstrances <br />and hearing all persons interested in or affected by said vacation.
