11/16/70 2501 W. Linden Street. The Sub -Standards Director reported that this structure has been under surveillance of the Sub -Standards Department since 1968; that at one time five families lived in the building;_ and that all tenants have now been relocated. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter of 2501 W. Linden Street was continued one week to further consider the advisability of demolition. 1002 Culver Place. No one appeared to represent the owner, John T. Siewert, who lives in K4sconsin. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Sub - Standards Director was authorized to seek bids for demolition of the structure at 1002 Culver Place. 128 S. Laurel Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter of 128 S. Laurel Street was continued one week for the owner to obtain bids for demolition. - - 1109 W. Colfax. The Clerk tendered a letter from Mrs. W. F. Scott stating they are obtaining estimates for rehabilitating the property._ Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was continued one week for Mrs. Scott to advise of her intentions in regard to the building and to deposit $25.00 with the Clerk of the Board for the benefit of the low Aa contract bidder in the event she intends to rehabilitate the premises. Q132 E. Elder Street. The Clerk -tendered a letter from Mrs. Fisher, daughter of the owner, who looks after the property, agreeing to the demolition of the structure at 132 E. Elder Street. Thereupon, bids received 11/9/70 for demolition of the structure were opened. Non collusion affidavits were examined and found to be proper. The bids were: O'Neal Trucking Company $700.00 B & G Demolition Company $835.00 Midwest Demolition Company $669.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 132 E. Elder Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $669.00. Other demolition bids opened: This being the date set, bids for demolition of the following structures were opened. Non collusion affidavits were found to be proper and the bids were as follows: 423 S. Paris Street. Harvey R. Bryant $517.00 Midwest Demolition Company $433.00 O'Neal": -Trucking Company $475.00 Upon,znotion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 423 S. Paris Street was awarded to Midwest Demo]-ition Company on its low bid of $433.00. 722 S. Rush Street. O'Neal'Trucking Company $523.00 B & J Demolition Company $735.00 Bryant Excavating Company $580.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 722 S. Rush Street was awarded to O'Neal Trucking Company on its low bid of $523.00. 1212 S. Franklin Street. Bryant Excavating Company $875.00 O'Neal Trucking Company $580.00 Midwest Demolition Company $669.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 1212 S. Franklin Street was awarded to O'Neal Trucking Company on its low bid of $580.00.
