The motion
fafled for lack of a second.
Mr. Crumpacker, City Attorney, stated the legal authority of the Board is
over the moving of a house over a street, and that the code has been complied
with in this regard.
Following further discussion, the interested residents from Eckman Street
asked that the matter be delayed so that they might investigate a further
possibility of preventing the house to be moved to 1021 E. Eckman Street.
Mr. Mitschelen objected to a further delay.
The motion was made, seconded and unanimously carried to continue the matter
one more week to afford the property owners to explore further whatever rights
they may have.
