0 `I <br />10/5/70 <br />1022 Prairie: <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $429.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $481.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition <br />of the premises at 1633 Prairie Avenue was awarded to O'Neal Trucking Company on <br />its tow bid of $429.00. <br />401 E. Dubail: <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $571.00 <br />B & J Demolition Co. $495.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $565.00 <br />Mr. Adamson reported attorney Edward Olczak has requested a continuance to <br />afford him an opportunity to go over the matter with the owners. The <br />Clerk reported Mrs. Jackie Carpenter, one of the owners, on October 2, 1970, <br />deposited $25 XO for the benefit of the low bidder in the event contract <br />r-4 is not awarded to the low bidder for demolition of the property. Upon <br />90 motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the matter was continued <br />. two weeks for the owners to advise the Board of their intentions. <br />210 E. Elder: <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $431.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $499.00 <br />B & J Demolition Co. $395.00 <br />Upon motiop.made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition <br />of the structure at 210 E. Elder Street was awarded to B & J Demolition <br />Company on its low bid of $395.00. <br />214 E. Elder: <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $698.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $781.00 <br />B & J Demolition Co. $485.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously/ carried, contract for demolition <br />of the structure at 217 E. Ohio Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition <br />Company on its low bid of $485.00. <br />217 E. Ohio: <br />O'Neal- Trucking Co. $545.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $431.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition <br />of the structure at 217 E. Ohio Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition <br />Company on its low bid of $431.00. <br />Request for sub -standard property owners to appear before the Board 10/19/70 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />r3quest of the Sub -Standards Director for the following persons to appear <br />before the Board on October 19, 1970, to show cause, if any they have, why <br />the structures at the following addresses shout-d not be demolished: <br />1041 LaSalle Court - Arthur and Edith Wolff <br />235 N. Studebaker - Clell F. and Tansey L. Ewing <br />121 E. Paris - Nelson Jennings Sims <br />2712 S. Main - Johnnie B. Nammons or Mrs. Johnnie Mihocza <br />2808 Pleasant - Billy 0. Mummey <br />And the Clerk was directed to so notify said owners by certified mail. <br />
