9/28/70 <br />1622 Prairie„Avenue. Neither Edwin L. nor Marylin K. Yoder appeared <br />as requested. Mr. Adamson, the Sub -Standard Director, had in file a <br />letter from the owners granting the City permission to tear down the <br />structure. Upon motion made, seconded -and carried, the Sub -Standards <br />Director was authorized to seek bids for the demolition of the property <br />at 1622 Prairie Avenue. <br />217 East Ohio Street. Mr. Jesse Fanning of Monroe, Michigan appeared <br />on behalf of the owner, Minnie Zorn, the owner, who is confined to a <br />nursing home, Mr. Fanning indicated that he believed that the property <br />should be demolished; therefore, upon motion.made, seconded and carried, <br />the Sub -Standards Office was authorized to seek b.i:ds for' the demolition <br />of the property at 217 East Ohio Street. <br />505 Kalorama Street. This matter was continued one week to allow Mr. <br />Adamson time to communicate with -the owners. <br />1022 South 35th Street. (Continued from 9/14) Mr. Patrick D. Myers, <br />the owner, appeared before the Board and stated that he -had made no <br />progress in rehabilitating the property, but.that he intended to do so. <br />Mr. Adamson supplied proof that the owner had done nothing to the pro- <br />perty since the last time the Board reviewed this case. Mr. Myers <br />was ordered to remove the accessory building, clean up the rear of the <br />""'; premises, cut all weeds and brush and remove the junk cars and appliances <br />JO to the rear of the lot. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />C1� <br />Board granted a two -week continuance in this matter. <br />Q 1150-11502 South Franklin Street. Mr. Adamson indicated to the Board' <br />that a demolition permit under private contract had been taken out, <br />but no work as yet had been done. This matter was continued indefinite- <br />ly to be kept under surveillance by the Sub -Standard Department. <br />717 East Broadway. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this matter <br />was continued indefinitely to be kept under surveillance by the Sub - <br />Standards Department. <br />626 Harrison Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried. this matter <br />was continued indefinitely to be kept under surveillance by the Sub - <br />Standards Department. <br />3509 East Pleasant Street. The awarding of the contract for the demoli- <br />tion of this property.was confirmed today. Midwest Demolition Corpora- <br />tion was awarded the contract for their low bid of $391.00, upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried. <br />Demolition bids opened: <br />This being the time set, bids were opened for the following properties. <br />Non -collusion affidavits were read and found to be proper. The bids were <br />as follows: <br />1629 South Franklin Street: <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $385.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Corp. $269.00 <br />B & J Demolition $400.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the contract for the demolition <br />of the property at 1629 South Franklin Street was awarded to Midwest <br />Demolition Corp. for its low bid of $269.00. <br />925 West Washington Street: <br />Midwest Demolition Corp. $829.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $1399.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the contract for the demolition <br />of 925 West Washington Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Corp. <br />for its low bid of $829.00. <br />1505 Miami Street: <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $975.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Corp. $583.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the contract for demolition was <br />awarded to Midwest Demolition Corp. for a low bid of $583.00. <br />
