8/31/70 <br />ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3327, 1970 - ASSOCIATES DISCOUNT CORP. <br />Upon motion,,made, seconded and carried, the following Vacation Resolution <br />was adopted: <br />"RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, That it is desirable to <br />vacate the following: <br />29 feet of a public Court, as platted in E. Louis <br />Kuhn's Subdivision of the west Half of Large Lot <br />No. 20 i�n Samuel L. Cottrell's First Addition to <br />the town of Lowell, now a part of the city of South <br />Bend. <br />Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and <br />the municipal city of South Bend, Indiana, to construct and main- <br />tain any facilities, including, but not limited to, the following: <br />electric, telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control <br />,..� structures and ditches, -within the vacated right of way, unless <br />00 such rights are released by the individual utilities. <br />1� <br />The following property may be injuriously or bene- <br />ficially affected by such vacation: <br />Q <br />Lots in E. Louis Kuhn's Subdivision of the west Half of <br />Lot 20 in Cottrell's First Addition and the east Half <br />of Lot 20 in Cottrell's First Addition. <br />Notice of this Resolution shall be published on the 4th <br />day of September, 1970, and on the llth day of September, 1970, <br />in the South Bend Tribune and in the Tri County News. <br />This Board, at its office, on the 14th day of September, <br />1970, at 9:30-A.M., will hear and receive remonstrances from all <br />persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. <br />Adopted this 31st day of August, 1970. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY <br />S. ARMAND RIGAUX <br />Area Plan Commission files with the Board its recommendation for the vacation <br />of a portion of the north -south alley between Penn Central right of way and <br />Otsego Avenue from the south right of way line of Angela Boulevard running <br />south 126 feet, with the recommendation that the curb cut be discontinued and <br />the present cut be curbed. And the City Engineer is directed to prepare a <br />vacation resolution. <br />ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3328 1970 - DR.
