M 5/25/70 2808 Pleasant. Mr. Adamson reported the building is wide open. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was continued one week and the Sub Standards Director was requested to obtain a picture of the present condition of this property. /� 1218 S. Carroll. Mr. Adamson reported Mrs. Virgil fear telephoned his (office that she would be unable to appear because of the death of Virgil /'�'� 0� Ga4#. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was continued two weeks. 661 LaPorte. Mr. Adamson reported Donald Clements, owner of this property, is removing the garage structure. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the matter was continued indefinitely, and the Sub -Standards Director was requested to keep the property under surveillance. 721 W. Wayne. Mr. Adamson reported a permit taken out by A & J Demolition Company on April 28, 1970, for the demolition of this structure but that nothing has been done. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was continued one week. 841-843-8432 S. Bendix and 844 S. Liberty. Attorney Edward Olczak appeared before the Board and requested a further continuance. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the matter was continued one week on the condition that $50.00 be deposited with the Clerk of the Board, within the week, for the benefit of the low bidder to the City, on these two properties; otherwise demolition contracts will be awarded by the City. 736 N. Frances. Mr. Adamson reported the condition here has not changed; that sometimes the property is found closed and sometimes not. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was continued one week and the Sub -Standards Director was requested to have the owner of the property appear before the Board. Demolition bids opened: This being the date set, bids for demolition of the following properties were opened. Non collusion affidavits were found to be proper. The bids were as follows: 1111 S. Lafayette: B & J Demolition Co. $400.00 O'Neal:Trucking Co. $485.00 Midwest Demolition'Co. $513.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 1111 S. Lafayette Street was awarded to B & J Demolition Company on its low bid of $400.00. 838 $:. Marietta: B & J Demolition Co. $1,100.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. $1 399.00 A.
