Bickel " T ION - PETITION OF SOUTH BEND OF NAPIER AND CHERRY STREETS Area Plan Commission files with the Board the vacation of:'' ECOMMEN PORTION 21 its favorable recommendation for Part of Napier.Street located immediately south of and ad- jacent to Lot 32 as shown in John F. Kirby's.Subdivision of Bank Out Lot 83; and a part of Cherry Street, beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 37 of John F. Kirby's Sub- division of Bank Out Lot 83; thence north to the northwest corner of Lot 29; thence we to the west line of Cherry Street; thence south along the west line of Cherry Street to a point directly west of the northwest corner of Lot 37; thence east to the point of beginning. and the City Engineer is directed to prepare a vacation resolution. AREA PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION - PETITION OF BETTY McCLURE TO VACATE ALLEY Area Plan Commission files with the Board its favorable recommendation for the vacation of: The first alley east of Portage Avenue from the north line of McCartney Street to the south line of the first east -west alley north of McCartney Street. and the Ci=ty Engineer is directed to prepare a vacation resolution. REQUEST OF A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc. TO LEASE FIRE STATION #8 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the re- quest of A.C.T.I.O.N., Ihc. , 1o40 Lincolnway East, South Bend, Indiana, to lease Fire Station No. 8 located at 135 S. Olive Street, and the request was re- ferred to the Legal Department for the preparation of a lease. The premises are to be used by A.C.T. I.O.N., Inc. as a housing facility in the conduct of a rehabilitation program for a selected group of prisoners from Michigan City State Prison in connection with the Indiana State Department of Corrections. REQUEST TO TRANSFER FUNDS FOR PUBLIC DISPLAY OF STUDEBAKER HISTORICAL COLLECTION Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved an agreement with the Michiana Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers' Club, 56410 Eastlea Drive, South Bend, Indiana, for said Drivers' Club to handle the public display of the Studebaker Historical Collection located at 221 W. Bronson Street, South Bend, Indiana, at a compensation of $25.00 per month. It was further moved, seconded and carried that the matter be referred to the Legal Department for the preparation of an ordinance for the transfer of funds from Account H-12 (services personal) to Account H-265 (other services contractual, of the Board of Public Works and Safety, to provides funds for such services. "_'IN KIND" RENT VOUCHER - INDIANA CRIMINAL JUSTICE AGENCY "In -Kind" rent voucher in the amount of $150.00 for Rooms 1427 and 1429 of the County City Building from the Indiana Criminal Justice Agency was ordered filed.
