4/20/70 Demolition bids opened: This being the date set, bids were opened for demolition of the following sub -standard properties.- Non collusion affidavits were examined and found to be proper. Bids were: 1454 E. Donald Street: Midwest Demolition Co. $233.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. 324.00 B & J Demolition Co. 300.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 1454 E. Donald Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its bid of $233.00. 1527 Linden Avenue: Midwest Demolition Co. $629.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. 585.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 1527 Linden Avenue was awarded to O'Neal Trucking Company on its bid of $585.00. REMOVAL OF HOUSE - RESOLUTION NO.3300 - OPENING OF FELLOWS STREET Pursuant to an agreement with the heirs of Robert William Maurice on March 30, 1970, for the removal_ of a house (at dead-end of Fellows Street) in connection with the opening of: A public street 60 feet in width running north and south in the northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 37 north, Range 2 east, and connecting at both ends with Fellows Street as presently existing and constituting an extension thereof from Walter Street to the north line of the southeast Quarter of the northwest Quarter of said Section, the centerline of said proposed extension to coincide with the centerline of Fellows Street as presently existing at both ends. bids for demolition of the structure having been obtained, were opened. Non collusion affidavits were examined and found to be proper. Bids were as follows: O'Neal Trucking Company $384.00 Midwest Demolition Company 269.00 It was moved, seconded and carried that contract for demolition of the house at the dead end of Fellows Street be awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on :itts low bid of $269.00, and that payment therefor be made from cumulative capital improvement fund. APPRAISALS - STORM WATER DETENTION BASINS Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board accepted and approved the proposal of Jack R. Harris, Davis Realty, 717 Lincolnway East, South Bend, Indiana for the following appraisals: Project I - 1970:. Washington and 36th Street storm water detention basin (Lagoon K), Project II- 1970: Ponsha and 33rd Street storm water detention basin Lagoon A), on an hourly basis of $10.00 per hour for actual time spent_.
