3/2/70 <br />1143 S. Franklin Street. Emma Verselder did not appear as requested. Mr. <br />Adamson stated this property is extremely sub -standard; that the owner, Emma <br />Verseider, who lived here, has-been relocated. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and unanimously carried, the matter was continued one week, and the Sub - <br />Standards Director was directed to obtain a picture of the premises and a <br />list of necessary repairs. <br />745 Francis Street. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, <br />this matter was continued one week. The Sub -Standards Director was requested <br />to provide the Board with a list of necessary repairs and to ascertain the <br />owner of the premises. <br />123 E. Paris Street. Mr. Adamson reported the premises have been re -inspected. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Sub -Standards Director <br />was granted permission to seek bids for demolition of the structure at 123 <br />E. Paris Street. <br />123 N. Jackson Street. Mr. Adamson stated nothing further has been heard <br />from Mr. Winkowski as to whether the owner intends to demolish the structure <br />himself. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, t'he matter was <br />continued one week. (Mr. Winkowski later appeared and was advised of the con- <br />tinuance.) <br />125 N. Jackson Street. Mr. Adamson reported he has heard nothing further from <br />the owner, Mr. Lee. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, per- <br />mission was given to seek bids for demolition of the property at 125 N. <br />Jackson Street. <br />1205 W. Colfax Avenue. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, <br />the Sub -Standards Director was granted permission to seek bids for demolition <br />of the structure at 1205 W. Colfax Avenue. <br />301 Hydraulic Avenue. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the <br />matter was continued one week. <br />Request for owners of sub -standard properties to appear before Board 3/16/70 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the re- <br />quest of the Sub -Standards Director for owners of the following sub -standard <br />properties to -appear before the Board on March 16, 1970, to show cause, if <br />any they have, why such properties should not be demolished: <br />Colonial Mortgage Company - 227 E. Fox Street` <br />Michael and Ethel Zalas 9171 N. Hill Street <br />Fred Dews - 1613 S. Fellows Street <br />St. Florian Society, Inc. - 1003 Western Avenue <br />St. Florian Society, Inc. - 321 S. Laurel Street <br />And the Clerk was directed to so notify said owners by certified mail. <br />Demolition bids opened: <br />This being the time set,- bids were opened for demolition of the following <br />premises. Non collusion affidavits were examined and found to be proper.
