F4_6_2 <br />8/28/72 <br />COMPLAINT - WEEDS - HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />A letter was received from the St. Joseph County Health Department <br />relative to complaints received about weeds on vacant property. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried this was referred to the Legal <br />Department. <br />R&S (A) IRELAND ROAD, STORM SEWER EXTENSION <br />William J. Richardson, City Engineer requested that bids be received <br />for the construction of the Ireland Road Storm Sewer Extension and <br />the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids to be received on <br />September 11, 1972. <br />CHANGE ORDER AULM CONSTRUCTION COMPANY - MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved Change order <br />G-1 to furnish labor and material to fill in alley area -ways, by the <br />Aulm Construction Company at a cost of $1,602.00. <br />CHANGE ORDER IDEAL CONSOLIDATED, ,INC. - MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved Change order <br />E-1 for the Ideal Consolidated Company for electrical fixtures for the <br />lounges in Morris Civic Auditorium at a cost of $678.00. <br />HIGHLAND ESTATES SECTION 6 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the Plans <br />and Specifications for Highland Estates Section 6. <br />OXFORD DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR RIVERSIDE MANOR THIRD SECTION <br />Engineering Planning Services transmitted a check from Oxford Develop- <br />ment Corporation in the amount of $36,200.00 to cover the cost of <br />street and sidewalk and storm drainage facilities to complete the devel- <br />opment of Riverside Manor Third Section. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried, this was referred to the Bureau of Engineering. <br />INDUSTRIAL FOUNDATION, INC. CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a claim for <br />payment of $150,000.00 into the Industrial Foundation, Inc., "Construction <br />Account." <br />REQUEST TO GET SALT BIDS <br />A letter was received from Donald Decker, Street Commissioner, requesting <br />the Board to advertise for bids for salt for snow and ice removal. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise <br />for bids to be received on September]], 1972. <br />CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE - RIVERSIDE MANOR HOME ASSOCIATION <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a certificate <br />of Insurance for Riverside Manor Home Association to cover a street <br />party given by the residents. <br />VERIFICATION CERTIFICATES FOR RIETH RILEY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, :INC., <br />Vertfication certificates for Contractor's Bond and for an Excavation <br />Bond were approved for the Rieth Riley Construction Company, Inc. <br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND - VAN OVERBERGHE BUILDERS <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried a bond in the amount of One <br />Thousand Dollars was approved by the Board to July 10, 1973. <br />REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHT GOODSON AND HOKE STREETS <br />A request was received, containing three signatures, requesting the <br />installation of a street light on eht corner of Goodson Court and Hoke <br />Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred to <br />the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting. <br />
