428 <br />8/28/72 <br />Department of Redevelopment had requested the owners of the following <br />properties to appear before the Board to show cause why the various <br />buildings should not be demolished: <br />822-824 South Bend Avenue Mr. Rocco SImeri was pepresented at the <br />meeting by Joseph Simeri, who requested a thirty day continuance <br />until an insurance settlement can be made. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried the request was granted and the matter was continued for <br />thirty days. <br />513 North Hill Street Mr, Patrick Brennan not having appeared upon <br />request, upon motion made, seconded and carried the Board authorized <br />Mr. Steel to seek bids for the demolition of the structure at 513 <br />North Hill Street. <br />505 Kalorama Street Mr. & Mrs. Ernest G. Moro not having appeared <br />as requested, upon motion made, seconded and carried the Board author- <br />ized Mr. Steed to seek bids for the demoliti®n of the strudture at <br />505 Kalorama Street. <br />616 North Frances Mr. John Morrow appeared before the Board as re- <br />quested and asked for a continuance of thirty days. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried the request -was granted with the stipulation <br />that the house be boarded up. <br />731 East Corby Mr. William Sanner, 58945 Locust Road, not having <br />appeared before the -Board as requested, upon motion made, seconded and <br />carried, Mr. Steed was authorized to seek bids for the demolition of <br />the structure at 731 East Corby. <br />906 Stanfield Street Mr. Frank Bilello, 17710 Juday Lake Drive N., <br />not having appeared before the Board as requested, upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, Mr. Steed was authorized to seek bids for.the <br />demolition of the structure at 906 Stanfield Street. <br />710 Hill Street This being the date set for receiving bids for the <br />demolition of the structure at 710 North Hill Street, the following <br />bids were opened and read, <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $500.00 <br />Midwest Demolition 474.00 <br />Bryant 470.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board awarded the bid <br />to Bryant Excavation Company. <br />239 East Broadway This being the date set for receiving bids for the <br />demolition of the structure at 239 East Broadway;; the following bfds <br />were opened and read: Non -Collusion affidavit was found to be in proper <br />order: <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $975.00 <br />Midwest Demolition 833.00 <br />Bryant Excavating Co. 700.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid was awarded to the <br />Bryant Excavating Company on its low bid. <br />1621 Sibley Avenue This being the date set for receiving bids for the <br />demolition of the structure at 1621 Sibley Avenue, the following bids <br />were opened and read: Non -collusion affidavit was found to be in order. <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $800.00 <br />Midwest Demolition 783.00 <br />Bryant Excavation 670.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid was awarded to the <br />Bryant Excavation Company on its low bid.. <br />
