395 7/31/72 The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation. Lot 8 of Oak Park 2nd Addition and a part of unplotted land bounded on the North by Dubail Avenue, on the West by High Street and on the South By Dayton Street Total net benefits $00000 Total net damages #00.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board adopted said assessment roll and set 9:30 A.M., August 21, 1972, Room 1308 County City Building, South Send, as the date, time and place for hearing all persons interested in or affected by such vacation. HEARING ON VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3363,1972 - ALKEY EAST OF PRAIRIE July 24, 1972 having been set as the date for holding a hearing on Vacation Resolution No. 3363,1972 for the vacation of the first North - South a 1 l ey East of Prairie Avenue., running from Indiana Avenue South to the first East-West alley, and the hearing not being held on �+ that.date, hearing is now held. V The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice on the 14th day Of July, .1972 and on the 21st day of July, 1972 in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News and same were found to be sufficient. No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, said Resolution adopted on the loth day of July, 1972 is ratified and confirmed and said alley vacated. The City Engineer is directed to prepare an assessment roll showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits to the surround- ing properties. APPROVAL OF CONTRACT BETWEEN CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND TENECH Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a contract between the.Ci.ty of South Bend, through its Board of Public Works and Safety, and TenEch Environmental Consultants for the preparation of an Operation and Maintenance Manual for the new additions presently being constructed to the South Bend Wastewater Treatment Plant. LETTER FROM SIDw S PLUMBING & HEATING COMPANY A letter was received from Sid's Plumbing S Heating Company informing the Board that as of August 1, 1972 the rate for Journeyman Plumbers will be $14.00 per hour and Plumbers Helpers will be $10.00 per hour. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this was ordered filed. LETTER FROM C. EDWARD WRAY - WEEDS A letter was received from C. Edward Wray, 1437 E. Monroe Street, South Bend, Indiana complaining that the Board had given publicity to the fact that weeds on the corner of Rockne Drive and Madison Street had not been cut, when in fact they had been cut. This was referred to the Health Department. NOTICE FROM HEALTH DEPARTMENT RELATIVE TO WEEDS Notices.were received from the Health Department in regard to city owned property where weeds have been allowed to grow. Upon motion made, seconded and carried this was referred to the Street Depart- ment with ordered to have the weeds cut.
