�96 <br />7/31/72 <br />REQUEST TO HOLD STREET SERVICES <br />A letter was received from Missionary Dora Lothe, 2024 Pershing Street, <br />South Bend, Indiana, asking permission to hold street services on the <br />itorner of Michigan and Westerb Avenue every night for one month. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred to the Legal <br />Department for investigation and report. <br />INDIANA CLUB FIRE ESCAPE <br />A memorandum was received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting wherein <br />they recommended the request from the Indiana Club to construct a <br />fire escape from their second floor dining room, be approved provided <br />the legal truck height of 12161' be observed or a low clearance notice <br />be posted at both entrances of alley. Upon motion made, seconded and <br />carried, the Board accepted the recommendation and approved the con- <br />struction of the fire escape with the provisions. <br />REQUEST ?0 CLOSE EASTMONT DRIVE <br />A letter was received from James A. Freeman, 4010 Eastmont Drive, <br />South Bend, Indiana requesting the Board to grant permission to close <br />Eastmont Drive from Greenmont Drive to -Darden Road from 8:0.0 P.M. to <br />1:00 A.M. on August 26th, 1972, for the purpose of holding a street <br />dance. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred <br />to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, for study and report. <br />REQUEST TO CLOSE SUNNYSEDE FROM SUNNYSIDE TO TWYCKENHAM DRIVE <br />A Memorandum was received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting <br />recommending that the Board approve the closing of Sunnymede from <br />Sunnysede to Twyckenham Drive on Saturday, August 5, 1972 from <br />4:30 PM to midnight provided the residents place and remove the <br />barricades] Upon motion made, seconded and carried, theBoard <br />approved the closing for the purpose of having a block party. <br />REQUEST TO BLOCK CAMPEAU STREET <br />A letter was received from Joe Warnell, 1115 East Campeau Street <br />requesting permission to close Campeau Street from Eddy Street to <br />Jacobs Street, on August 5, 1972 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred to the Bureau <br />of Traffic and Lighting for investigation and report. <br />CANCELLATION OF BOND - LEON H. MARTIN CONTRACTOR <br />The Trinity Universal Insurance Company wishes to cancel the bond <br />of Leon H. Martin. This was a Contractor's Bond. The request <br />was referred to the Building Department and the Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting for investigation and report and both departments <br />have indicated they recommend the cancellation. Upon motion' <br />madde, seconded and carried, the Board approved the cancellation <br />of the bond. <br />CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE - STICKLER PLUMBING & HEATING COMPANY <br />A Certificate of Insurance was approved, upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried,.for the Stickler Plumbing F, heating Company to 5/15/73. <br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND - ROBERT J. CORTHIER & GARY L. SELLS <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Contractor's bond for <br />Robert J. Corthier and Gary L. Sells was approved to 7/24/72. <br />1 <br />u� <br />E <br />
