�96 7/31/72 REQUEST TO HOLD STREET SERVICES A letter was received from Missionary Dora Lothe, 2024 Pershing Street, South Bend, Indiana, asking permission to hold street services on the itorner of Michigan and Westerb Avenue every night for one month. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred to the Legal Department for investigation and report. INDIANA CLUB FIRE ESCAPE A memorandum was received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting wherein they recommended the request from the Indiana Club to construct a fire escape from their second floor dining room, be approved provided the legal truck height of 12161' be observed or a low clearance notice be posted at both entrances of alley. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board accepted the recommendation and approved the con- struction of the fire escape with the provisions. REQUEST ?0 CLOSE EASTMONT DRIVE A letter was received from James A. Freeman, 4010 Eastmont Drive, South Bend, Indiana requesting the Board to grant permission to close Eastmont Drive from Greenmont Drive to -Darden Road from 8:0.0 P.M. to 1:00 A.M. on August 26th, 1972, for the purpose of holding a street dance. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, for study and report. REQUEST TO CLOSE SUNNYSEDE FROM SUNNYSIDE TO TWYCKENHAM DRIVE A Memorandum was received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting recommending that the Board approve the closing of Sunnymede from Sunnysede to Twyckenham Drive on Saturday, August 5, 1972 from 4:30 PM to midnight provided the residents place and remove the barricades] Upon motion made, seconded and carried, theBoard approved the closing for the purpose of having a block party. REQUEST TO BLOCK CAMPEAU STREET A letter was received from Joe Warnell, 1115 East Campeau Street requesting permission to close Campeau Street from Eddy Street to Jacobs Street, on August 5, 1972 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for investigation and report. CANCELLATION OF BOND - LEON H. MARTIN CONTRACTOR The Trinity Universal Insurance Company wishes to cancel the bond of Leon H. Martin. This was a Contractor's Bond. The request was referred to the Building Department and the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for investigation and report and both departments have indicated they recommend the cancellation. Upon motion' madde, seconded and carried, the Board approved the cancellation of the bond. CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE - STICKLER PLUMBING & HEATING COMPANY A Certificate of Insurance was approved, upon motion made, seconded and carried,.for the Stickler Plumbing F, heating Company to 5/15/73. CONTRACTOR'S BOND - ROBERT J. CORTHIER & GARY L. SELLS Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Contractor's bond for Robert J. Corthier and Gary L. Sells was approved to 7/24/72. 1 u� E
