Springman <br />HEARING ON VACATION RESOLUTION NO 3361,1972 - alley east of High street <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No. <br />3361,1972 for the vacation of the first North and South Ailey East of <br />High Street running from Dubail South to the first East and West alley <br />alongside and adjacent to Lot 88 in Oak Park Second Addition. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice on the 7th day of <br />July and the 14th day of July, 1972 in the South Bend Tribune and the <br />Tri County News and same were found to be sufficient. <br />No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having <br />been filed, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, said <br />Resolution adopted on July 3, 1972 is ratified and confirmed and said <br />alley vacated. <br />The City Engineer 1s directed to prepare an assessment roll showing the <br />award of damages and the assessment of benefits to surrounding properties. <br />HEARING ON VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3362,1972 - ALLEY BETWEEN MILTON <br />AND CALVERT <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No. <br />3363,1972 for the vacation of the first North -South alley East of <br />Michigan Street from South R/W line of Milton Street to the North R/W <br />line of Calvert Street. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice on the 7th day of <br />July and the 14th day of July, 1972 in the South Bend Tribune and the <br />Tri County News and same were found to be sufficient. <br />No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having <br />been filed, and Mr. Leonard Gunder, 113 East Calvert Street, having <br />appeared to speak for the vacation, upon motion made, seconded and un- <br />animously carried, said Resolution adopted on July 3, 1972 is ratified <br />and confirmed and said alley vacated. <br />The City Engineer is directed to prepare an assessment roll showing the <br />award of damages and the assessment of benefits to the surrounding <br />properties. <br />LETTER FROM INDIANA CLUB RE: FIRE ESCAPE <br />A letter was received from the Indiana Club as follows: <br />July i 1 , 1972 <br />Board of Public Works <br />City of South Bend, Undiana <br />Re: Fire escape from 2nd floor Dining Rooms <br />Gentlemen: <br />We respectfully request permission to construct a fire escape on the <br />
