304 5/15/72 . __ 1 HITZ This being the date set, hearing was held on the Assessment roll,' in Vacation Resolution No. 3356, 1972, for the vacation ofMeade Street from Westmore to Roger Street and Longley Street from Eclipse to Meade Street. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on Ap=r11 28, May 5 and May 12, 1972, and same were found to be sufficient. No remonstratore appeared and no written remonstrances having been received, upon :. motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Assessment Roll showing no net damages and no net benefits was approved as adopted and said Resolution in all things ratified and confirmed and said proceedings closed. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on April-20, May 5, and May 12, 1972, and same were found to be sufficient. No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been received, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Assessment Roll showing no net damages and no net benefits was approved as adopted and said Resolution in all things ratified and confirmed and said proceedings closed. annaTinm nc unrnTtnu arcni lffinu un *azcR ia7,> - iuniama t_ Miruir.Am 59 Area Plan Commission having filed with the Board its recommendation for the vacation of a part of the first north -south alley west of Ironwood Drive, running south 133.45 feet from the south right of way line of the Grand Trunk and Western Railroad, the following resolu- tion was adopted: VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3358,1972 RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, that it is desirable to vacate the following: A part of the first north -south alley west of ironwood Drive, running south 133.45 feet from the south right of way line of the Grand Trunk and Western Railroad Reserving the rights and easements of all Utilities, and the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, to-. construct and maintain any facilities, including, but not limited to, the following: electric, telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and ditches, within the vacated right of way, unless such rights are released by the individual Utilities.
