304 <br />5/15/72 <br />. __ 1 <br />HITZ <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the Assessment roll,' <br />in Vacation Resolution No. 3356, 1972, for the vacation ofMeade <br />Street from Westmore to Roger Street and Longley Street from <br />Eclipse to Meade Street. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South <br />Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on Ap=r11 28, May 5 and May <br />12, 1972, and same were found to be sufficient. No remonstratore <br />appeared and no written remonstrances having been received, upon :. <br />motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Assessment <br />Roll showing no net damages and no net benefits was approved as <br />adopted and said Resolution in all things ratified and confirmed <br />and said proceedings closed. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL HEARING - VACATION RESOLUTION NO, 3357,1972 - STEEL <br />WAREHOUSE ET AL <br />This being the date set hearing washeld on the Assessment Roll <br />in Vacation Resolution No. 3357,1972, for the vacation of Kaley <br />Street from the South right of way line of Tucker Drive, south <br />to the south right of way line of the St. Joseph South Bend and <br />Southern Railroad. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South <br />Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on April-20, May 5, and May <br />12, 1972, and same were found to be sufficient. No remonstrators <br />having appeared and no written remonstrances having been received, <br />upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Assessment <br />Roll showing no net damages and no net benefits was approved as <br />adopted and said Resolution in all things ratified and confirmed <br />and said proceedings closed. <br />annaTinm nc unrnTtnu arcni lffinu un *azcR ia7,> - iuniama t_ Miruir.Am <br />59 <br />Area Plan Commission having filed with the Board its recommendation <br />for the vacation of a part of the first north -south alley west of <br />Ironwood Drive, running south 133.45 feet from the south right of way <br />line of the Grand Trunk and Western Railroad, the following resolu- <br />tion was adopted: <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3358,1972 <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, that it is desirable to vacate the <br />following: <br />A part of the first north -south alley west of <br />ironwood Drive, running south 133.45 feet from the south <br />right of way line of the Grand Trunk and Western <br />Railroad <br />Reserving the rights and easements of all Utilities, <br />and the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, to-. construct and <br />maintain any facilities, including, but not limited to, the <br />following: electric, telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water <br />control structures and ditches, within the vacated right of way, <br />unless such rights are released by the individual Utilities. <br />
