This Board, at its office, on the 15 day of May, 1972 at 9:30 o'Ciock A.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested -in or affected.by these proceedings. Noble, Clerk This being the�date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No. 3358,1972 for the vacation of a part of the first north -south alley west of Ironwood Drive, running South 133.45 feet from the south right of way line of the Grand Trunk and Western Railrodd. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice on the 5th day of May and on the i2th day of May, 1972 in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News, and same were found to be sufficient. No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been received, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, said Resolution adopted on May 1st, 1972 was ratified and confirmed and said alley vacated. The City Engineer is directed to prepare an assessment roll showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits to surrounding properties. BIDS ON MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM The following letter was presented to the Board: May 9, 1972 Board of Public Works andSafety County City Building, 1outh Bend, Indiana Re: Additions and Alterations to the Morris Civic Auditorium After careful review of the bids received on May 8, 1972, following are our recommendations for the award of contracts and alternates to be accepted on the subject project. All contracts recommended are the low bidders, and all alternates are add alternates. We re recommending the inclusion of all alternates, cince they are essential to the complete project, and since the total cost is with- in the funds allocated for this work.
