Noble, Clerk <br />This being the�date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No. <br />3358,1972 for the vacation of a part of the first north -south alley <br />west of Ironwood Drive, running South 133.45 feet from the south <br />right of way line of the Grand Trunk and Western Railrodd. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice on the 5th day <br />of May and on the i2th day of May, 1972 in the South Bend Tribune <br />and the Tri County News, and same were found to be sufficient. <br />No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having <br />been received, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, <br />said Resolution adopted on May 1st, 1972 was ratified and confirmed <br />and said alley vacated. <br />The City Engineer is directed to prepare an assessment roll showing <br />the award of damages and the assessment of benefits to surrounding <br />properties. <br />BIDS ON MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />The following letter was presented to the Board: <br />May 9, 1972 <br />Board of Public Works andSafety <br />County City Building, <br />1outh Bend, Indiana <br />Re: Additions and Alterations to the <br />Morris Civic Auditorium <br />After careful review of the bids received on May 8, 1972, following <br />are our recommendations for the award of contracts and alternates <br />to be accepted on the subject project. All contracts recommended <br />are the low bidders, and all alternates are add alternates. <br />We re recommending the inclusion of all alternates, cince they are <br />essential to the complete project, and since the total cost is with- <br />in the funds allocated for this work. <br />
