RELATIVE TO GILMER PARK SEWER <br />The following letter was presented to the Board: <br />May 4, 1972 <br />Mr. William Richardson, <br />City Engineer <br />County City Byilding <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Re: Gilmer Park Sewer <br />Dear Mr. Richardson: <br />Place and Company would appreciate the Board of Works approving the <br />plans for the connecting of laterals on Pearl Street, Opal Street, and <br />Topaz Street to the Gilmer Park trunk sewer, as per plans on file with <br />4!14 your department. <br />Upon completion of this work we wish to draw a contract with Place <br />and Company and the City of South Bend for extension to these three <br />laterals. <br />V <br />Very truly yours, <br />Place and Company, Inc. <br />s/ Andrew S. Place <br />President <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the plans <br />for the connection of laterals to the Gilmer Park Trunk Sewer. <br />PETITION FOR BARRETT LAW PAVING OF ALLEY <br />A petition containing eleven signatures was presented asking for the <br />paving of the North and South alley from Oakwood to Lathrop and the East <br />and West Alley from Inglewood East to this same north and south alley all <br />the block bounded on the north by Lathrop on the south by r Oakwood, on <br />the east by Hollywood and on the west by Inglewood. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried the Board referred the petition to the Engineering <br />Department for the preparation of Barrett Law estimates. <br />REQUEST FOR PARADE - HAMMES LITTLE LEAGUE <br />A request from the Hammes Little League to have a parate on Saturday, <br />June 3, 1972 and also a police escort, was, upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried, referred to the Traffic Department for study and report. <br />REQUEST FOR A PARADE - CHET WAGGONER LITTLE LEAGUE <br />A Request from the Chet Waggoner Little League for a parade on Saturday, <br />June 3, 1972, and a Fire Department Pumper to lead: -the parade, was, upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, referred to 'the Traffic Division <br />for study and report. <br />COMPLAINT RE: SUB -STANDARD HOUSE - MR. & MRS. CRAIG RIDOUT <br />A lengthy letter was received from Mr. & Mrs. Craig H. Ridout complaining <br />about the condition of a house at 1805 East Ewing Avenue. Uponmoti.o-n <br />made, seconded and carried, this was referred to Mr. Liszewski for`inves- <br />tigation and report. <br />LETTER FROM INDIANA BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY <br />A letter was filed from the Indiana Bell Telephone Company informing <br />the Board that they were withdrawing their claim against the city for <br />damages to a telephone cable. <br />in <br />
