5/8/82 <br />Non -collusion affidavits were found to be in proper order. <br />Midwest Demolition $396.00 <br />B s J Demolition 435.00 <br />Machinery Supply Co. 325.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company 365.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the bid was awarded to Machinery <br />Supply Company on its low bid of S325.00 <br />1801-1806-1814-1816-18t7-1818 RANDOLPH STREET <br />Mr. John Vanek was instructed to appear before the Board on this date <br />to inform them of the progress on the demolition work of the Randolph <br />Street structures and the surrounding area. Mr. Vanek not having <br />appeared, Mr. Davis Wells, Assistant Engineer, was instructed to make <br />an inspection of the area and report back to the Board on Monday, May <br />15, 1972. <br />PARK-JEFFERSON COMPLEX <br />r-I Mr. Liszewski informed the Board that he had been in contact with the <br />2t� manager of the Park -Jefferson Apartments and they are demolishing the <br />building themselves. <br />v 906 STANFiIELD STREET <br />Mr. Liszewski informed the Board that the building at 906 Stanfield <br />Street is secure, but no'work is being done on it, The Board instructed <br />Mr. Liszewski to notify Mr. Frank Bilello and Mr. James Boker to <br />appear before the Board of May 22, 1972 to show cause why the building <br />should not be demolished. <br />MODEL CITIES - TOT LOT <br />Mrs. Ethel Rupchock, 932 West LaSalle Street, appeared before the Board <br />and said she had no objection to the Tot -lot being built. <br />Mr. Silas West, appeared before the Board and said he would like more <br />information about the project. Mr: Edward Dunn, Model Cities spokesman <br />invited to Mr. West to sit down with them and talk over the plan. <br />Mr. Kronewitter, Model Cities Engineer said all safety factors had <br />been discussed. <br />The Board was informed that the lot had been donated to the city by <br />Mrs. O'Brien for park purposes. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the following <br />resolution was adopted: <br />"RESOLUTION NO. 2-5-8-72 <br />"A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING CITY -OWNED LAND <br />TO THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND. <br />"WHEREAS, the following real estate herein described has <br />been donated to the City of South Bend for use as a 'mini•' park: <br />Lot numbered Fifty-nine (59) in Cobbs Subdivision <br />of Bank Out Lot Thirty (30) of the of the First <br />Plat of Out Lots of the Town, now City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, commonly known as 936 West LaSalle <br />Avenue-, South Bend, Indiana, and, <br />"WHEREAS, the Board of Park Commissioners of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana is the agency for constructing and maintain- <br />ing parks in the South Bend area, and, <br />
