I"2�s <br />5/17Y- <br />REQUEST OF AMERICAN LEGION UNIT #303 TO SELL POPPIES <br />A request from American Legion Unit #303 to sell poppies on the city <br />streets on May l9th and 20th, Cos, upon motion made, seconded and <br />carried, approved, <br />SPECIAL POLICE BOND AND COMMISSION - JOSEPH SHUBERT <br />A request for a Special Police Commission having been received previously <br />for Joseph L. Schubert, the Board now directs that he appear before the <br />Board on May 0, 1972 and the Clerk was instructed to write to him. <br />AN AMENDMENT TO NORTH IRONWOOD SEWER EXTENSION <br />The following letter was presented to the Board: <br />March 23, 1972 - <br />Mr. William Richardson, <br />City Engineer <br />County City Building <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Re: North Ironwood Sewer Extension <br />Portage Realty Corp. <br />Dear Mr. Richardson: <br />On behalf of Portage Realty Corp., 129 Dixieway South, South Bend, <br />Indiana, we are hereby requesting that ,the assessment computations <br />for the Ironwood Road -Sewer Extension be revised that that page 2 <br />of our letter addressed to Mr. Lloyd S. Taylor, dated December 3, 1971 <br />together with its accompanying drawing be deleted in their entirety, - <br />and the enclosed pages 2 and 3 and the revised drawing be substituted . <br />-In 1 iew thereof. <br />Thank You, <br />s/ Kent S. Kaser <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried the Ironwood Road <br />Sewer Extension Revision was approved as presented. <br />PAYMENT TO CLYDE E. WILLIAMS & ASSOCIATES FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />A statement from Clyde E. Williams and Associates for general supervision <br />of the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the amount of <br />$4,316.23 was approved, upon motion made, seconded and carried. <br />STATEMENT FROM MATHEWS. PURUCKER F, ASSOCIATES FOR ORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />A statement was received from Mathews, Purucker and Associates for the <br />architectural services for the renovation of Morris Civic Auditorium, <br />in the amount of $10,711.60. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this <br />was approved. <br />DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS FOR CITY OF SOUTH BEND PRESENTED <br />Mr. William Richardson, City Engineer, presented to the Board the Design <br />and Construction Stan dards for the city of South Bend. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried the Design and Construction Standards were approved. <br />RONALD P. RADECKI PROTESTS ERECTION OF SIGN <br />Mr. Ronald P. Radecki a0peared before the Board to protest the erection of <br />a Time and Temperature sign at the intersection of East Jefferson Boulevard <br />and St. Louis Steet. Upon motion made, seconded and carried the matter was <br />referred to the Legal Department for study. <br />
