<br />Upon motions made, seconded and unanimously carried, Mr. Liszewski was
<br />authorized to call the following owners of sub -standard properties
<br />before the Board of Public Works and Safety on May 1, 1972 to show,
<br />cause why demolition should not take place:

<br />CERTIFICATE OF COST OF NONCASH GRANT IN AID - DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT
<br />A Certificate of Cost of Noncash Grant in Aid, in connection with Rede-
<br />velopment Project Indiana R-57 for the Beck's Lake Retention Basin was
<br />presented to the Board for signature by Charles A' Sweeney, Jr., its
<br />President. Said certificate was signed by Mr. Sweeney and returned to
<br />the Department of Redevelopment for further processing.
<br />A letter from Hal Smith, 913 Oakland Avenue, South Bend, Indiana and
<br />Mary Ann Wright, requesting the use of the stone amphitheater located
<br />at the south and of.Frances Street and the St. Joseph River for their
<br />wedding to be held on June 10, 1972 at'10:00 A.M. was ordered filed by
<br />the Board and referred to the Legal Department for study and recommend-
<br />ation to the Board, said recommendation to be made on April 24, 1972.

<br />animously carried, said petition was referred to the Engineering De-
<br />partment and the Area Plan Commission, simultaneously, for study and
<br />recommendation to the Board.

<br />$75.00 for costs. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, said peti-
<br />tion was referred to the Engineering Department and the Area Plan
<br />Commission, simultaneously, for study and recommendation to the Board.
