269 <br />4/17/72 <br />1312 S. St, Joseph Street <br />The Building Department being unable to determine the exact ownership of <br />the sub -standard property at 1312 S. St. Joseph Street, upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, this matter was referred to the Legal Depart- <br />ment for determination of ownership and report to the Board. <br />Bids for Demolition Opened <br />This being the date set, bids for demolition of the following sub- <br />standard properties were opened. Non -collusion affidavits were found <br />to be in proper order. The•bids were as follows: <br />814 Forest Avenue: <br />B & J Demolition $460.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $700,00 <br />Midwest Demolition $753.00 <br />Machinery Supply Co. $595.00 <br />et4 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the contract for the demolition <br />e-! of the structure at 814 Forest'Avenue was awarded to the B L J Demolition <br />Company on its low bid of $460.00 <br />U <br />213-215 Chestnut Street: <br />Machinery Supply Company $975600 <br />B & J Demolition Co. $460000 <br />Midwest.Demolition Co. �$834,00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $729:00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for the demolition of <br />the structure at 213-215 Chestnut Street was awarded to B J Demolition <br />Company on its low bid of $460.00. <br />621 S. Columbia Street: <br />Machinery Supply Co. $595.00 <br />B S J Demolition Co. $460.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Corp. $597:00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $498.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for the demolition of <br />the structure at 621 S. Columbia Street was awarded to B J Demolition <br />Company on its low bid of $460.00 <br />732 Lincoln Way East and 42-44 Lincoln Way East: <br />Machinery Supply Company $2,450.00 <br />B & J Demolition Company $1,400.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $2,280.00 <br />The bid of Midwest Demolition Corp. was not accepted by the Board due to <br />the fact that it was not in proper form, being for only one of the struc- <br />tures in question. Upon motion made, seconded and carried the contract <br />for the demolition of the structures at 732 Lincoln Way East and 742-44 <br />Lincoln Way East was awarded to B & J Demolition Company on its low bid <br />of $1,400.00. <br />706 S. Fellows Street: <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $375.00 <br />B & J Demolition Company $435.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Company 5385.00 <br />Machinery Supply Company $375.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bids for the demolttion of <br />the structure at 706 S. Fellows Street were referred to the Legal Depart- <br />ment for determination of procedure in the case of a tie bid, the winning <br />bidder to be notified at the Board meeting on April 24, 1972. <br />
