26 <br />4/10/72 <br />2410-2412 West Ford Street <br />Mr. Gene Arnett appeared before the Board and shows to the Board a <br />proposal from Bonds Electric Company for repairs to be made at 2410- <br />2412 West'Ford Street, and also shows to the Board a form of pro- <br />posal from V.V. Engle Construction Company to do some structural <br />repairs and a proposal from the Harris Building Service to'so some <br />out side work. <br />Mr. Daniel J. Chrzan, 2415 West Ford appeared before the Board to <br />remonstrate against a continuance on the rehabilitation of this <br />property because he said it has been going on for years, and is <br />an eyesore to the entire neighborhood. <br />In the absence of any signed contracts for work, which were re- <br />quested by the Board, the Board now awards the contract for the <br />demolition of the structure at 2410-2412 West Ford Street to the <br />B & J Demolition Company on its low bid of $580.00. IN-KWND CONTRIBUTION VOUCHERS <br />A.C.T.I.O.N. In -kind vouchers for contributions were filed for Fire <br />Stations #5, #7 and #8 for the month of April. <br />PETITION TO VACATE THE FIRST NORTH AND SOUTH ALLEY EAST OF PRAIRIE <br />A patttion to vacate the first north and south alley east of Prairie <br />Avenue, running from Indiana Avenue South to the first east and west <br />cross alley, was filed with the Board for the William Penn Fraternal <br />Association. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred <br />to the Engineer's office and the Area Plan Commission simultaneously <br />for investigation and recommendation. <br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />A Contractor's bond, upon motion made, seconded and carried, was <br />approved for Booker Hosea to April 5, 1973. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
