26 <br />3/10/72 <br />CONTINUATION CERTIFICATES <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried continuation certificates.were <br />approved for: <br />Wilton F. Seymore OBS 3 Way Construction Co. to 12/31/72 <br />John Pask, Jr. to 4/12/73 <br />MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING <br />Mr. Chapman of Matthews, Purucker & Associates filed plans with the <br />Board for the hearing and air conditioning of the Morris Civic Audi- <br />tortum. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, these were approved <br />and the Clerk was directed to advertise for bids in the South Bend <br />Tribune and the Tri County News on April 14, and April 21, with bids <br />to be received until 9:30 A.M. on May 8, 1972. <br />REPLY TO COMPLAINT OF MRS. MOLKUP <br />Mr. William J. Richardson, City Engineer, filed with the •epnd�a <br />1114 report on the complaint of Mrs. Mockup relative.to the McKinley <br />r; Park Sewer problem. <br />1� <br />�+ TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the install- <br />ation of a 30 MPH sign on the East side of Meade Street 40' north of <br />Western avenue and on the West side of Meade Street just south of <br />Holland Street, and also a NO PARKING sign on the north side of East <br />Monroe Street from East of Michigan to Lincoln Way East. <br />1 <br />A request for a new installation of signs POLICE PARKING ONLY on the <br />west side of 100 S. Main Street,.and the removal of two parking meters <br />was tablted until the next meeting. <br />SITE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE MODEL CITIES NEIGHBORHOOD <br />Site Improvements, street, curb and sidewalks, in the Model Cittes <br />Neighborhood Area E-5, roughly bounded by LaPorte, Wayne, Chapin and <br />Thomas Streets, was, upon motion made, seconded and carried, approved. <br />MISS GUTHRIE COMMENDED <br />Charles A. Sweeney, Jr. Chairman of the Board, commended Miss Guthrie <br />on the Civic Cinema which was presented to the Board.
