URBAN AND CORPORAL RICHARD HAZINSKI TO FOP SEMINAR <br />Chief Seals recommended that Division Chief Robert J. Urban and Corporal <br />Richard Hazinski be permitted to attend the FOP Seminar and State Board <br />Meeting in Terra Haute, lndiana•April 27 through 30,.19720 <br />Applications for the South Bend Police Department were ordered filed <br />and referred to the Personnel Department for further study: <br />Richard Deszcz <br />Steven Frisk-- <br />Charles 1. Pyza <br />Charles Stokes <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB STANDARDS DIVISION <br />Mr. Richard Llszewski, Sub -Standards Director, appearedbefore the Board <br />and matters pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />910 W. Washington Street <br />Mrs. Ruth Price appeared before the Board and stated the group -she <br />had asked to take over the structure at 910 West Washington Street <br />will not meet until the 27th of April. This matter was then con- <br />tinued until May 1, 1972 <br />2410-2412 West Ford Street <br />This being the date set bids were opened for the demolition of the <br />structure at 2410-2412 West Ford Street as follows: <br />Machinery Supply Company $735.00 <br />B S J Demolition 580.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. 649.00 <br />Mr, Gene Arnett, owner of the building, appeared before the Board <br />and requested that he be allowed 30 days in which to get contracts <br />let and 90 days in which he can complete rehabilitation of;the <br />structure. After discussion, the above bids were held in abeyance, <br />Mr. Arnett deposited $25.00 with the Board to stay the demolition. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, Mr. Arnett was given one <br />week, at which time he is to return to the Board with signed contracts <br />for the complete rehabilitation of the structure. <br />213-215 Chestnut Street <br />George and Elizabeth Gandy, Sr., not having appeared as requested <br />the Board, upon motion made, seconded and carried, now authorizes <br />Mrs Liszewski to seek bids for the demolition of the property at <br />213-215 Chestnut Street. <br />
