[258 <br />4/3/72 <br />621 Col is Street <br />Mr. Charles W, Barnette appeared before the Board and stated he had <br />been waiting for an insurance settlement on the property, but that <br />he would demolish the structure. After discussion Mr. Barnette <br />authorized Mr. Liszewski to seek bids•for the demolition of the <br />structure at 621 Columbia Street. <br />06 S. Fellows Street <br />Emma J. Nash, owner of the property at 706 S, Fellows Street, not <br />having appeared before the Board as requested, Mr. Liszewski, upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, is authorized to seek bids for <br />the demolition of the structure at 706 S. Fellows Street. <br />7.32 and 742-744 Lincoln Way East <br />Harvey P, and Lillian Roland not having appeared before the Board <br />as requested, as owners of the property at 732 and 742-744 Lincoln <br />Way East, Mr. Liszewski, upon motion made, seconded and carried,' <br />is now authorized to seek bids for the demolition of the structures <br />at 732 and 742-744 Lincoln Way East. <br />814 Forest Avenue <br />Robert L and Patricia A. Sellers not having appeared before the <br />Board as eequested, and being owners of the property at 814 Forest <br />Avenue, Mr. Liszewskt, upon motion made, seconded and carried, is <br />now authorized to seek bids for the -demolition of -the structure <br />at 814 Forest Avenue. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL HEARING - VACATION RESOLUTION NO, 3 55.1 72 <br />JULIUS S EDITH TUCKER <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the Assessment Rollin <br />Vacation Resolution 3355,1972, for the vacation of the east -west alley <br />between Colfax And Washington Avenue running West from the west line <br />of Niles Avenue 1501+- to the east line of the East Race, said alley <br />running between Lots #45 and 46 in a part of the Original Piot of <br />Town of Lowell, now a part of the City of South Bend. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South <br />Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on March 17, March 24 and <br />March 31, and same were found to be sufficient. No remonstrators <br />having appeared and no written remonstrances having been received, <br />upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Assessment <br />Roil showing no net damages and no net benefits was approved as <br />adopted and said Resolution in all things ratified and confirmed <br />and said proceedings closed. <br />ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3356.1972 = Park Department <br />Area Plan Commission having filed with the Board its recommendation <br />for the vacation of Meade Street from Roger to Westmore and Langley <br />from Eciipse to Meade Street, the following resolution was adopted: <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 4456,1972 <br />RESOLVED BY 7HE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, that it is desirable to vacate the <br />following: <br />Meade Street from the south right of way line of <br />Westmore Street south to the -north right of way <br />line of Rogers Street <br />
