249 <br />L <br />1 <br />3/27/72 <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB STANDARDS DIVISION <br />Mr. Richard Lisiewski, Sub -Standards Director, appeared before the <br />Board and matters pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />949-West-Wash4ngton-Street <br />Mrs. Ruth Price having requested that the demolition of the structure <br />at 910 West Washington Street be held up while the possibiity of the <br />Model Cities being able to rehabilitate the structure is explored, was <br />continued until this date. Mrs. Price not having appeared the Board <br />now directs the Clerk to write to Mrs. Price asking her to appear at <br />the next Board meeting with information regarding the structure. <br />.LI)4 Georcli ana <br />This being the date set, the following bids were opened for the <br />demolition of the structure at 1134 Georgianna Street: <br />Midwest Demolition <br />O'Neal Trucking <br />$335:00 <br />329.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the bid was awarded to O'Neal <br />Trucking on its low bid of $129.00. <br />613 S. Ruth Street <br />This being the date set the following bids were opened for the <br />demolition of the structure at 613 S. Rush Street as follows: <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $535.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. 550.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid was awarded to <br />Midwest Demolition on its low bid of $535.00+ <br />516 East Bronson Street <br />This being the date set the following bids were opened for the <br />demolition of the structure at 516 E. Bronson Street: <br />Midwest Demolition <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. <br />$478.00 <br />450.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid was awarded to <br />O'NEal Trucking on its low bid of $450.00 <br />PETITION TO VACATE ALLEY NORTH FROM DUNHAM STREET FOR TED BRZEZNIAK ET AL <br />A petition was received asking for the vacation of an alley running north <br />from Dunham Street alongside Lot I in Harris Addition, thence'East and <br />along the rear of lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 all in Harris Addition to the City <br />of South Send,'indiana, by Ted Brzezniak et al. $75.00 was deposited <br />for costs. Upon notion duly made, seconded and carried the petition <br />was referred to the Engineering Department and the Area Plan Commission <br />simultaneously for study and recommendation. <br />TO ROGER AND <br />TO MEADE - PARK <br />Area Plan Commission files with the Board its favorable recommendation <br />for the vacation of Meade Street from Roger to Westmore and Longley <br />Street from Eclipse to Meade Street. The matter is now referred, upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, to the Engineering Department for <br />the preparation of a vacation resolution. <br />
