249 L 1 3/27/72 BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB STANDARDS DIVISION Mr. Richard Lisiewski, Sub -Standards Director, appeared before the Board and matters pertaining to his department were discussed. 949-West-Wash4ngton-Street Mrs. Ruth Price having requested that the demolition of the structure at 910 West Washington Street be held up while the possibiity of the Model Cities being able to rehabilitate the structure is explored, was continued until this date. Mrs. Price not having appeared the Board now directs the Clerk to write to Mrs. Price asking her to appear at the next Board meeting with information regarding the structure. .LI)4 Georcli ana This being the date set, the following bids were opened for the demolition of the structure at 1134 Georgianna Street: Midwest Demolition O'Neal Trucking $335:00 329.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried the bid was awarded to O'Neal Trucking on its low bid of $129.00. 613 S. Ruth Street This being the date set the following bids were opened for the demolition of the structure at 613 S. Rush Street as follows: Midwest Demolition Co. $535.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. 550.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid was awarded to Midwest Demolition on its low bid of $535.00+ 516 East Bronson Street This being the date set the following bids were opened for the demolition of the structure at 516 E. Bronson Street: Midwest Demolition O'Neal Trucking Co. $478.00 450.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid was awarded to O'NEal Trucking on its low bid of $450.00 PETITION TO VACATE ALLEY NORTH FROM DUNHAM STREET FOR TED BRZEZNIAK ET AL A petition was received asking for the vacation of an alley running north from Dunham Street alongside Lot I in Harris Addition, thence'East and along the rear of lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 all in Harris Addition to the City of South Send,'indiana, by Ted Brzezniak et al. $75.00 was deposited for costs. Upon notion duly made, seconded and carried the petition was referred to the Engineering Department and the Area Plan Commission simultaneously for study and recommendation. TO ROGER AND TO MEADE - PARK Area Plan Commission files with the Board its favorable recommendation for the vacation of Meade Street from Roger to Westmore and Longley Street from Eclipse to Meade Street. The matter is now referred, upon motion made, seconded and carried, to the Engineering Department for the preparation of a vacation resolution.
