3/6/72 <br />1 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request <br />of IBM for the use of the trailer for ninety days. <br />HOUSE MOVING - 709 North Olive <br />Mr. West informed the Board that <br />moved to 1849 North Olive Street <br />is required. <br />736 North Francis Street <br />the house which was to have been <br />had been demolished, so no action <br />Mr. Wallace Mitchell having been instructed to appear before the Board <br />on this date with an occupancy permit showing the structure at 736 <br />North Francis Street was in a habitable condition, and Mr.Mitchell <br />not having appeared, and Mr. Liszewski having taken picture to show <br />that no appreciable work has been done on the structure, the Board <br />now directs, upon motion made, seconded and carried, that the bids <br />previously received should be read. The were as follows: <br />WAIMCO, <br />O'Neal Trucking <br />$525.00 <br />435.00 <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded, and carried, the bid for the demolition <br />of the structure at 736 North Francis Street was awarded to the O'Neal <br />Trucking Company on its low bid. <br />Mr. Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standards Director presented a letter to <br />the Board informing them that 14r.John Vanek has not been performing <br />on his demolition contracts. Two contracts awarded January 6, 1972 <br />have not been completed. Mr. Liszewski recommends that no more <br />contracts be awarded to Mr. Vanek. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the Board accepted Mr. Liszewski's <br />recommendation and directed the Clerk to write Mr. Vanek and tell him <br />no more bids will be awarded to him for demolition if he is unable <br />to perform them. <br />A.C.T.I.O.N. IN -KIND VOUCHERS <br />In -kind vouchers were received from A.C.T.I.O.N. Inc., for Fire <br />Stations #5, #7 and #8 for the month of March, 1972 and were ordered <br />filed. <br />WEIGHTS AND PLEASURES REPORT <br />Mr. Bert Cichowicz, City Sealer, filed his report for the month of <br />February, 1972. <br />PETITION TO VACATE ALLEY - SOUTH OF RIVERSIDE DRIVE FROM LELAND <br />Chris A. Brooks, 914 Leland Avenue, presents a petition to vacate <br />the first East-West alley South of Riverside Drive running East <br />from Leland Avenue to the first North -South Alley, and deposits the <br />sum of $75.00 to cover costs. Upon motion made, seconded and unan- <br />imously carried, the petition _was referred, simultaneously, to the <br />Engineering Department anc'l.the Area Plan Commission for study and <br />report to the Board. <br />CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER -WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board <br />approved a Contract Change Order #3 in the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant Addition Division A., for Sollitt Construction Company. <br />MAINTENANCE BOND - ARCO ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the Board approved a Maintenance <br />Bond for Arco Engineering Construction Corporation for sewer, concrete <br />curb and asphalt construction in Southeast Estates. <br />
