3/b/72 <br />The Board, having reviewed the matter, and having received a <br />recommendation from Chief Seals, now concurs in the recommenda- <br />tion, and assesses the penalty at seven days suspension without <br />pay. Reinstatement to be after seven days. Since seven days have <br />elapsed since the suspension from duty, Patrolman Leonard Michael <br />Grummell is now reinstated and returned to duty. <br />CHARGES AGAINST WILLIAM VESSELS STOYNOFF <br />This being the date set for hearing charges against Corporal <br />William Vessele Stoynoff, hearing is now held. <br />Corporal Sttoynoff stated that he had received a copy of the charges <br />against him, and a copy of the notice of hearing. He now states <br />that his attorney is out of the city, and he appears before the Board <br />with a request that he be granted a continuance so he may obtain <br />counsel. The Board recognizes his right to counsel and continues <br />the case until March 13, 1972 at 9:30 A.M. <br />SPECIAL POLICE COMMISSION - WATSEY GAULDIN <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the Board approved the <br />Special Police Commission of Watsey Gauldin, the Environmental <br />Inspector for the City. <br />SPECIAL POLICE COMMISSION - DONALD J. BRUNETTE <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a Special <br />Police Commission for Donald J. Brunette who is employed by Don <br />Medow Pontiac. His commission will be sent to him upon the receipt <br />of an appropriate bond. <br />CONTINUATION CERTIFICATE - MANUEL SADURAL <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a contin- <br />uation certificate for a bond for Special Police officer Manuel <br />Sadural. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - I. B. M. TRAILER <br />Mr. Forest !Jest, Building Commissioner, appeared beforethe Board <br />and presented the following letter. <br />March 1, 1972 <br />Mr. Forest R. West <br />Building Commissioner <br />City County Building <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Dear Mr. West: <br />IBM would like permission to renew the permit for location of the <br />Mobile Demonstration Trailer in our parking lot. We request the <br />renewal for an additional ninety day period effective March 1. At <br />the end of that time the trailer will be moved to a new IBM location. <br />The information regarding the specifications of the trailer and its <br />use, is the same as contained in our letter of June 2, 1971, request- <br />ing the original.permit. <br />If there are any questions regarding the trailer and/or its'use, please <br />feel free to call.
