2/28/72 <br />SPECIAL POLICE BOND - WATSEY GAULDIN <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />a special police bond in the amount of $1,000.00 for Watsey Gauldin, who <br />is the Environmental Inspector for the City. <br />A collision report for the month of January was presented by the Police <br />Department and ordered filed. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT <br />HOUSE MOVING 709 North Olive Street <br />The above matter continued to this date is now continued for one week <br />until March 6, 1972 when the Board will make a final decision. <br />SUB --STANDARDS DIVISION <br />Mr. Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standards Director, was present and the <br />following matters were discussed: <br />1114 e717 S. Clinton Street Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, Mr. <br />21� Liszewski was authorized to seek bids for the demolition of the sub- <br />standard structure at 717 S. Clinton Street. <br />U 910 West Washington Street Mr. Liszewski reported that this building <br />has been boarded up, and he was directed to keep it under surveillance <br />for the next thirty days. <br />1504 Swygart Street Mr. Liszewski reported a settlement is about to <br />be made on this property and recommended that it be continued for <br />two weeks. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was <br />continued for two weeks. <br />736 North Francis Street Mr. Wallace Mitchell appeared before the Board <br />with pictures which showed the condition of the structure at 736 North <br />Francis Street. After much discussion it was decided to continue the <br />matter for one week at which time a final decision will be reached. <br />125 East Dayton This being the date set bids for the demolition of <br />the structure at 125 East Dayton Street, the following bids were <br />read: <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $828.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Company 534.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the Board awarded the bid for the <br />demolition of the structure at 125 East Dayton Street to Midwest Demol- <br />ition Company on its low bid of $534.00. <br />501 Pennsylvania Avenue Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />Board authorized Mr. Liszewski to seek bids for the demolition of the <br />structure at 501 Pennsylvania. <br />The following persons were directed to appear before the Board on <br />Monday, March 13, 1972 to show cause why the named structures should <br />not be demolished: <br />1134 Georgiana Street William E. & Birdie Jean Coleman <br />613 S. Rush Street Kin A. Bird <br />516 E. Bronson Street David & L. T. Newsome <br />2410-2412 W. F,&rd Street Gene Arnette <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ADDITION - PAYMENT <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the Board approved <br />Progress Payment #5 in the amount of $184,540.71 to Sollitt Construction <br />Company, for work done on the Wastewater Treatment Plant Additions. <br />
