191 <br />1/31/72 <br />PETITION TO VACATE KALEY STREET FROM TUCKER DRIVE SOUTH TO THE RAILROAD TRACKS <br />Steel Warehouse Company, Inc., and Stanley Body and Equipment Company, <br />by Frederick K. Baer, attorney, files its petition to vacate Kaley <br />STreet from Tucker Drive South to the Railroad Tracks, and deposits <br />$75.00 to pay for costs. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously <br />carried, the petition was referred, simultaneously, to the Engineering <br />Department and the Area Plan Commission for study and recommendation <br />to the Board. <br />ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3351-72 HEARING HELD - DEPT. OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No. 3351, <br />1972, for the vacation of: <br />Lincoln Way East - from 55 feet south of Jefferson Street <br />to St. Joseph Street <br />East Jefferson Street - from St. Joseph Street to the <br />1%H curve on Jefferson -Wayne Connector Street <br />r-4 East Washington Street - from St. Joseph Street to <br />[� Artesian Avenue <br />U <br />Artesian Avenue - from Washington Street to the South- <br />erly end of Artesian Avenue. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend <br />Tribune and the Tri County News on Jenum.vy 21 and January 26, 1972, <br />which were found to be sufficient. <br />No remonstrators appears and no written remonstrances were received. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried unanimously, said resolution <br />adopted on January 17, 1972 was ratified and confirmed and said streets <br />were vacated. <br />The City Engineer is directed to prepare an assessment roll showing the <br />award of damages and the assessment of benefits to surrounding properties. <br />HEARING ON VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3352,1972 - MASTIC CORPORATION <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No. <br />3351, 1972, for the vacation of: <br />The following seven parcels of land described as follows: <br />102 x 483 feet E. SE. N.W. 3.82 AC and 32AC S and Adj. 15.37 <br />2 E located on the east side of and adj. to Kaley Street <br />S 2 7 AC W2 SENE 15 37 2E located on the east side of and <br />adj, to Kaley Street <br />Parcel of land 26 x 663 feet W. SENW 15 37 2E IAC located <br />on the east side of and adj. to Kaley Street <br />Parcel of land 240 x 415 feet 15 37 2E 3AC +- located <br />on the east side of and adj, to Kaley Street. <br />Parcel of land containing 11.12 AC in NW SW except RRS <br />of RR 15 37 2E except for streets located on the west side <br />of and adj. to Kaley Street <br />Parcel of land 1326.95 feet E and W x 402.90 feet NS con- <br />taining 14.91 AC +- located on the west side of and adj. <br />to Kaley Streee <br />Parcel of land belonging to St. Joseph, South Bend and <br />Southern Railroad right-of-way and property owned by N-0 <br />171-R.R. right-of-way <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune <br />
