Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried the Board continued the matter for one week and Mr. Mitchell <br />is to bring in a detailed report of proof of financial backing and a timetable <br />showing how long it will take to get the house back into shape. <br />CRESTWOOD MANAGEMENT COMPANY - RETENTION BASIN <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />purchase of the retention basin (Lagoon E) in Crestwood Gardens, south of <br />Edison Road between Edison Park and Mckinley Terrace Additions as set out in <br />a purchase Agreement between Crestwood Management Company and the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED - RESOLUTION NO.3349, 1971 - GATES CHEVROLET COMPANY <br />Lloyd S. Taylor, former City Engineer, filed an assessment roll, showing the <br />award of damages and assessment of benefits, in Vacation Resolution No. 3349, <br />1971 for the vacation of the east -west alley between Wayne Street and <br />Western Avenue from William Street to Franklin Street; also the north-wouth <br />alley between William Street and Franklin Street from Wayne Street to <br />Western Avenue. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such <br />vacation: <br />All of the area bounded by Wayne Street, on the North, Franklin Street <br />on the East, Western Avenue on the South, and William Street on the West. <br />Total net damages $00.00 <br />Total net benefits $00.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board adopted said <br />assessment roll and set 9:30 A.M., January 17, 1972 in room 1308 County -City <br />Building, South Bend, Indiana, as the date for hearing all persons intersted <br />in or .affected by said vacation. <br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL? -VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3349, 1971 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll in Vacation <br />Resolution No. 3349, 1971 for the vacation of the east -west alley between <br />Wayne Street and Western Avenue from William Street; also the north -south <br />alley between William Street and Franklin Street from Wayne Street to Western <br />Avenue. <br />The clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune <br />and the Tri County News which were found to be sufficient.
