10 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 2601 Lawton Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $289.00. 220 E. Paris Street. O'Neal Trucking Company $925.00 Midwest ,Demolition Corporation $687.00 B & J Demolition Company $620.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demolition of the structure at 220 E. Paris Street was awarded to B & J Demolition Company on its low bid of $620.00. HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3344, 1971 - DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT (IND. R-57) This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll in Vacation Resolution No. 3344, 1971, for the vacation of: Portions of streets and alleys in LaSalle Park, all within the r� recorded Thirdr,4Plat of Summit Place Addition, a Subdivision in the northwest Quarter of the southwest Quarter of Section 10, w Township 37 north, Range 2 east, as follows: V (1) Kankakee Avenue between the west line of the north -south alley west of Kaley Street and the east line extended northerly of Lot 686. (2) Kaley Street between 40 feet north of the north line of Colfax Avenue and the south line of Kankakee Avenue. (3) The north -south alley (between Kaley Street and Meade Street) between 40 feet north of the north line of Colfax Avenue and the south line of Kankakee Avenue. (4) The east -west alley (between Washington Street and Colfax Avenue) between the west line of Kaley Street and the east line of the first north -south alley west of Kaley Street. Said vacation subject to 14 foot wide sewer easement be- tween the west line of Kaley Street and the east line of the first north -south alley west of Kaley Street. Proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on September 24, October 1 and October 8, 1,971:, were read and found to be sufficient. No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been received, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the assessment roll was approved as presented and the resolution in all things ratified and confirmed. POLLOCK This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll in Vacation Resolution No. 3345, 1971, for the vacation of the alley running east from Fellows Street south of Dubail Avenue and -crossing Lots 55 and 56, and a portion of Lot 57; thence running south exiting in the east -west alley between Dubai] Avenue and Dayton Street from Fellows Street to Rush Street, in Henry Studebaker's First Addition. Proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on September 24, October 1 and October 8, 1971, were found to be sufficient. No remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were received. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the assess- ment roll was approved as presented and the resolution was in allthings ratified and confirmed.
