Non collusion affidavits were examined and found to be sufficient. The bids were as follows: 539 S. Fellows Street• O'Neal Trucking Company $600.00 Midwest Demolition Corporation $537,00 B & J Demolition Company $400:00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously of the structure at 539 S. Fellows Street Company on its low bid of $400.00. 702 S. Clinton Street: O'Neal Trucking Company Midwest Demolition Company B & J Demolition Company carried, contract for demolition was awarded to B & J Demolition $585.00 $523.00 $575.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, ontract for demolition of the structure at 702 S. Clinton Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $523.00. 1629 S. William Street: O'Neal Trucking Company $529.00 Midwest Demolition Corporation $637.00 B & J Demolition Company $450.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, -.contract for demolition of the structure at 1629 S. William Street was awarded to B & J Demolition Company on its low bid of $450.00. MUNICIPAL PARKING GARAGES - MONTHLY CONTRACTS Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, after due consideration, the Board approved the recommendation of the Municiapl Parking Facilities Manager to increase monthly parking contracts for Garage No. 2 (Jefferson and St. Joseph) to 210 or less as of January 1, 1972. HEARING ON VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3347, 1971 - BENEDICT J. BARCZYKOWSKI This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No. 3347, 1971 for the vacation of the first east -west alley north of Huron Street from the west line of Carlisle Street west to the east line of the first north -south alley. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on October 1 and October 8, 1971, which were found to be sufficient. The petitioner, Benedict J. Barczykowski, 437 S. Carlisle Street, South Bend, Indiana, and Zygmunt J. Gorney, 433 S. Carlisle Street, South Bend, Indiana, appeared before the Board in favor of the vacation. No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been re- ceived, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said vacation resolution adopted September 27, 1971, be'finally ratified and confirmed and said alley vacated. The City Engineer is directed to prepare an assessment roll showing the 1. assessment of benefits and the award of damages to surrounding properties.
