Taylor <br />City Civil Engineer <br />RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH SEWER CONNECTION RATE - CLEVELAND ROAD SEWER <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, a resolution to establish a rate of <br />.07� to connect to the Cleveland Road Sewer was referred to the Legal Depart- <br />ment for review and recommendation. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />AWARD OF CONTRACT <br />CONSTRUCTION PROJECT - IRELAND ROAD, MICHIGAN TO MIAMI <br />For the improvement of Ireland Road, from Michigan Street to Miami Street, <br />by constructing a three inch overlay of the existing pavement and 12 inch <br />full depth asphalt widening. <br />Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., consult'ng engineers, having examined <br />bids received on June 1, 1971, for said improvement, recommends the bid of <br />Arco Engineering Construction Company, Inc., in the amount $187,054.00 be <br />accepted as the lowest and best bid received. <br />And the Board, being duly advised in the premises, finds that said bid is <br />the lowest and best bid received and, upon motion made, seconded and <br />unanimously carried, enters into a contract with Arco Engineering Construction <br />Company, Inc., for said improvement upon its bid of $187,054.00, subject to <br />the approval of the Common Council of the appropriation of funds. <br />REQUEST TO HOLD MARCH 6/19/71 - EMANUEL CHURCH OF DELIVERANCE <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request of <br />Charles Thomas, Chairman, Youth Council, Emanuel Church of Deliverance, <br />417 W. LaSalle Street, South Bend, Indiana, to hold a march, consisting of <br />20 to 25 persons, on Saturday, June 19, 1971, at 1:00 P.M., commencing at <br />417 W.
