Zurat. <br />Captain Raymond Raymond Arendt - retirement under total disability <br />effective June 1, 1971. <br />Matt J. Cegielski - effective June 1, 1971. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT - RESIGNATION <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the resignation of <br />Richard Paul Burnoski from the South Bend F ire Department, effective <br />June 3, 1971, was accepted and approved, upon the recommendation of F ire <br />Chief Joseph L. Galasso <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT - REQUEST TO ATTEND CONFERENCE IN PITTSBURGH, PA. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board authorized Assistant Chief <br />William Diedrich to attend the 56th annual conference of Building Officials <br />and Code Administrators International in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from <br />June 12 to June 18, 1971, upon the recommendation of Fire Chief Joseph L. <br />Zurat. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT - REQUEST TO ATTEND CONFERENCE IN STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board authorized Captain William <br />T. Schmidt to attend the 37th annual Validation Conference of the International <br />Fire Service Training Association at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, <br />Oklahoma July 12 to July 16, 1971. <br />
