REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 27, 1973 The Church did provide the Board with a parade route, beginning at the church on Blaine Avenue and using neighborhood streets in the area. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the parade request. Proof of indemnity coverage is on file in the Board Office. APPROVAL OF BLOCK PARTIES The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting investigated requests for Block Parties to be held on North Woodhill Lane on September 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.., on Manitou Place on September 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Devonshire Drive on September 2, 1973 at 3:30 p,.m. Mr. Hazinski recommended that approval be given subject to the Police Department being notified and the city being indemnified. Upon -motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved ,the three Block Parties, contingent upon notice of indemnification being received by the Board Office. APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES The Board received a recommendation from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting that Stop Signs be installed at Reo and Buick, Buick and Colfax and Olds and Buick. This is a recently annexed area with no traffic control and the volume of traffic warrants the installation. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the installation. CHANGE ORDERS IN TOPICS T6000(6) The Board received two change orders in the Main Street Viaduct Project, Topics T6000(6) as follows: 1. Items 29 and 32, Pipe Group L Increased $180.90 2. Items 45 and 46, Reconstruction Structure Manhole and Castings Adjusted Increased $300.00 Mr. Farrand indicated that these were.the last change orders on this project. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the change orders were approved. REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHTS The Board received a request from Councilman Walter Kopczynski for the installation of two street lights; one at the first alley south of Ford Street, on the East side of Kaley Street and the second on Huron Street, mid -block between Liberty and Camden. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board referred the request to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for investigation and recommendation. RECOMMENDATION FOR INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS The Board received the following recommendations from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for installation of street lights: 1.
