<br />which the City has not been installing. However, a field check indicated
<br />the area to be poorly lighted. It is therefore recommended that this area,
<br />adjacent and south of the central redevelopment area be'updated at this
<br />time. (Note: due to its close proximity to the C.B.D. and the type of
<br />housing, (Multiple family dwellings) the light level is higher than normal

<br />Petitioner - Ralph Mclnerny and Councilman Serge. The original' petition was
<br />on the 2111 block, however, Portage is one of the diminishing few unlighted
<br />modernized arterials. It is recommended that the existing pole line on the
<br />"east" side of Portage (which is approximate arterial spacing of 1501) be
<br />used with 20,000L MV in the business area and 7,0001- MV north of Kessler.

<br />be used in the replacement.
