3/19/73 <br />diameter, to be placed in front of the J.M.S. Building Annex. We <br />have advised them to omit any tree planters on this location and <br />it is so indicated on the landscaping plan, sheet P.P.#13. <br />Our recommendation to Mr. James Seitz calls for a low evergreen to <br />be placed at this location, in lieu of honey locust shademaster trees. <br />Yours truly, <br />s/ Edwin R. Bauer <br />Rehabilitation Architect <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request and <br />authorized Mr. West to issue the building permit. <br />REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHTS - COUNCILMAN WALTER T. KOPCZYNSKI <br />The Board received three letters from Councilman Walter T. Kopczynski, 6th <br />District, requesting that street lights be installed at the following <br />locations: <br />Q Huron Street, midblock between Kaley and Bendix <br />V Ford Street, midblock between Bendix and Liberty <br />U Ford Street, midblock between Kaley and Bendix <br />Councilman Kopczynski also requested that the boulevard -type lights in the <br />Belleville area be updated with the new type of boulevard light. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board referred the requests to the <br />Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for investigation and report to the Board. <br />PETITION FOR STREET LIGHTS - 1000 and 1100 Block of Roberts Street <br />The Board received a petition with thirteen signatures requesting that two <br />street lights be installed, one in the 1000 block and one in the 1100 block <br />of Roberts Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the petition was <br />referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting. The Clerk was directed to <br />send a letter to Councilman Terry Miller advising him that the Board has <br />received requests from citizens of his district for street lights. <br />COMPLAINT - HEALTH DEPARTMENT RE: 802 N. ST LOUIS AND NEAR 508 EAST WENGER ST. <br />The Board received complaints from the St. Joseph County Health Department in <br />regard to stagnant water standing in front of 802 N. St. Louis Street and <br />holes filled with water 2 lots over from 508 East Wenger Street. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the Board referred this matter to Mr. Hugh Gammon, <br />Bureau of Construction and Design for investigation and report. <br />REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />The Board received a request from Mr. Clem Hazinski, Manager of the Bureau of <br />Traffic and Lighting, for a change from a two hour parking zone to a 30 minute <br />time limit zone at 633 Studebaker Street, in order to create turnover of parking <br />space at the grocery store at this address. The request was approved upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried. <br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND CONTINUATION CERTIFICATE FILED - TUGGY ITOW <br />The Board received a Contractor's Bond Continuation Certificate for Tuggy Itow <br />dba Ralph Keller Concrete Company and, upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />referred the continuation certificate to the Bureau of Construction and Design <br />for investigation and report. <br />
