3/19/73 <br />EXCAVATION BOND CONTINUATION CERTIFICATES FILED <br />Excavation bond continuation certificates were received from Tuggy Itow <br />d/b/a Ralph Keller Concrete Company and the Sollitt Construction Company. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the certificates were referred to <br />Mr. Hugh Gammon, Bureau of Construction and Design, for investigation and <br />report. <br />MEMO FROM BUREAU OF ENGINEERING RE: BUD'S CONCRETE <br />The Board received a memo from Mr. Hugh Gammon, Bureau of Construction and <br />Design, that he had investigated the bond for Bud's Concrete and found <br />everything to be in order. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board <br />approved the bond. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The Street light outage report for the period of March 8 to March 15, 1973 was <br />received by the Board and ordered filed. <br />REMONSTRANCE TO IRONWOOD SANITARY TRUNK SEWER EXTENSION <br />Mr. Nick Stscherban, 1958 Denslow Drive, appeared before the Board and filed with <br />the Board the results of a survey made of residents in the area and a petition <br />remonstrating against the project with the signatures of 39 property owners. <br />COMPLAINT - MRS. IRENE MAGYAR - IRONWOOD ROAD PROJECT <br />Mrs. Irene Magyar, 2517 S. Ironwood, appeared before the Board to protest the <br />inclusion of sidewalks and high intensity lights in the Ironwood Road project <br />and to present a petition with 261 signers remonstrating against the proposed <br />widening of Ironwood. Mr. Richardson explained that the City had agreed to <br />investigate the possibility of boulevard lights in the area and said that <br />there were residents of Ironwood who are in favor of the sidewalks. He said <br />that, at tremendous cost to the City, the original plans were revised in <br />response to the wishes of the people making the proposed widening a four -lane <br />instead of a five -lane road. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:20 a.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />4 <br />CLERK <br />
