3/19/73 EXCAVATION BOND CONTINUATION CERTIFICATES FILED Excavation bond continuation certificates were received from Tuggy Itow d/b/a Ralph Keller Concrete Company and the Sollitt Construction Company. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the certificates were referred to Mr. Hugh Gammon, Bureau of Construction and Design, for investigation and report. MEMO FROM BUREAU OF ENGINEERING RE: BUD'S CONCRETE The Board received a memo from Mr. Hugh Gammon, Bureau of Construction and Design, that he had investigated the bond for Bud's Concrete and found everything to be in order. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the bond. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT The Street light outage report for the period of March 8 to March 15, 1973 was received by the Board and ordered filed. REMONSTRANCE TO IRONWOOD SANITARY TRUNK SEWER EXTENSION Mr. Nick Stscherban, 1958 Denslow Drive, appeared before the Board and filed with the Board the results of a survey made of residents in the area and a petition remonstrating against the project with the signatures of 39 property owners. COMPLAINT - MRS. IRENE MAGYAR - IRONWOOD ROAD PROJECT Mrs. Irene Magyar, 2517 S. Ironwood, appeared before the Board to protest the inclusion of sidewalks and high intensity lights in the Ironwood Road project and to present a petition with 261 signers remonstrating against the proposed widening of Ironwood. Mr. Richardson explained that the City had agreed to investigate the possibility of boulevard lights in the area and said that there were residents of Ironwood who are in favor of the sidewalks. He said that, at tremendous cost to the City, the original plans were revised in response to the wishes of the people making the proposed widening a four -lane instead of a five -lane road. There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:20 a.m. ATTEST: 4 CLERK
